October is a spooky month. I drew quite a few Halloween pictures in the past, but lately I felt like I haven't been draw much, so I thought about ghost animals.

There are many animals with ghost in their names.

Ghost bird (potoo), Ghost bat (Macroderma gigas), Ghost crab, Ghost mantis, ghost shrimp... Among them, I thought of ghost octopus.

In the deep sea, there is a ghost octopus nicknamed casper, but there is not much data about them.  I did a sketch of an octopus that was really a ghost.

The final sketch of an octopus with human fingers was excluded because it seemed too scary lol

This time, I wanted to try a different color combination, so I thought of a yellow octopus on an orange background, but I think the combination of fluorescent colors on a bright background hurts my eyes a little. So I chose the pale color of the original motif, the actual octopus, casper octopus.
