I regularly receive questions about sticker production. The story about the factory is in Story 1, the production process is in Story 2, and the WIP is in Story 3. I think I wrote down all the important concepts in the last post. I am sharing a preview of the design and the production process this time.

I've been working on this for the past week.

Here are two big stickers prepared for next quarter

I'm thinking about rainbow coating on isopod, and shiny pearl coating on marine birds.

The opposite may be a better match, but in terms of production, it seems that rainbow coating matches well with larger stickers.

I am considering using blue foil. The blue foil is quite dark and is an intense blue, so it may have been difficult to match if it had been a different design, but I think it will go well with. Still, the same Aurora foil as last time will be good too. Right now, I'm about 55% leaning towards blue foil, but I may change my mind in the end.  I'll probably consult with the factory and make a final decision.

This is its earliest appearance. The eagle ray's tail seemed too long, so I modified it later.

By doing this, I can more easily check the outline shape.

The frame for cutting stickers will be made of metal.

So, if there is such a complicated outline, it becomes a problem.

That red *shape should be able to pass through the outline.

After finishing the cutting line work, I draw the foil part.

I remember having a hard time drawing stars half a year ago. Since I haven't used the program in six months, I've forgotten everything and have no recollection of how I made it. But at least I feel more at ease because I can copy it and use star shape again 😎 (Normally I prefer to draw everything by hand, even if it's a circle or star shape.)

By the way, I initially thought that arthropods would win the vote. also I thought the snail would win last round. Here is an unused draft.

Gold foil would have gone well with the snail, and blue or aurora foil would have gone well with the spider. Hmm... this design may be used in the future if they win, but I don't think it will be used exactly the same because I keep drawing new things.

For example, snail is a draft I made last round, and if they had won this round, I wouldn't have choose them as foil stickers. This is because they are earthy color and do not match the blue foil.

Since the work in Adobe Illustrator is not yet complete, but will finished within this week. I want to put that task off forever and draw new picture first, but since I wrote that I was going to do it in this post, I can do it 🥹🙌. And after, I plan to contact the printing factory in the next few days. There won't be a big change, but some details may change due to production~

You will be able to see all the photo sample of postcards and stickers at the end of this month! Thank you

I think blue foil will look very cool. It's nice to try new things every once in a while!

Yes, I just inquired about the type of foil the factory had and they said they had it. Increasingly, I am leaning towards trying new things.

While I am sad the arthropods didn't win, that Isopod looks amazing and I am excited to be able to get merch from you as all your stuff is so cute!! 💚 Everything looks like it's going to be fun to create adorable water scenes with those stickers!! 🥰

Thank you for saying that! All products are currently in production, so you will be able to see completed photos soon. By the way, the arthropod lost in the stickers but won in the postcards!
