[wip / Time lapse ] Mermaid's purse (Patreon)

** This picture is not finished yet~ Patreon has a video function, so I wanted to test it. I work on the iPad up to this point...  and then go to photoshop for finish.I'll update the wallpaper post when it's done. 

A few years ago, when I made a shark theme on galaxy, I drew a shark egg as an icon.

It expresses skate, horn shark, cat shark, and chimera's egg. I remember several people recognizing this shark egg and leaving a review on Galaxy. It's rewarding when people discover details of my works 🥹

I personally like animal eggs in the water. I drew it a few times in the past, but not recently. And July is Shark Day. So this is the perfect time to draw some shark eggs.

The main concept is that baby fish are dreaming of the sea in their egg case.

Inside the egg is the world they dream of: dazzling waves and glittering sea surfaces.

Baby catshark, horn shark, and skate.

I like to use pastel colors when drawing babies.

In an early sketch, a baby shark is hugging a yolk sac. I like this version too.
