Box turtles are North American turtle.

There is an Asian box turtle that shares the same name, so I was debating whether or not to draw it together, but this time I only draw with the North American turtle.

I like to draw animals of the same genus.

It's funny how similar they are to each other, but there are still differences.

Most turtles have an earth tone, but some males have colorful skin patterns like orange or blue! 

In the sketch, I added a mystery turtle as a pun... :)

Details

I like tortoise claws, but I thought it would be a bit complicated if I draw, so I drew claws on only some of the leg.

For the name of the three toed box turtle, I draw their claws :D

Coahulian box turtles spend most of their time in water, so their shells are often covered in moss.
