[wip] Seal pup (Patreon)

I mentioned it in a previous post, I completed these for add them to the sticker sheet !

Actually, I was thinking about whether to draw a sea otter or a seal.

I thought the seal would be more suitable with Manatee.

I don't know if it will be the next or when, but I'm thinking of drawing a sea otter someday as well. It seems that they are the only marine mammals that I haven't drawn.

Color thumb

At this stage I usually decide which colors to use and which animals to place where. Of course, this may change later.

For example, I think about arrange 3 white baby seals harmoniously in the frame, and put a brown walrus pup in the center.

Finally, in order to blend this brown color harmoniously, I also added a slight brown tone to the black seals. 

I often thought of my dog while drawing some white seals pups..

In Korea, the word for seal is '물개', It means literally 'water + dog".

I've never seen them in nature, but looking at pictures taken by divers on the internet, they seem friendly and playful just like dogs.
