[ drawings ] Harlequin animals 1 (Patreon)

Earlier this year, I was watching movie trailer of Birds of prey.

Suddenly I realized that there were many animals named 'harlequin' and 'clown'.

Didn't see that movie because covid-19 happened here early so I couldn't go to the theater, but anyway I thought it would be fun to draw them together.

I wrote down the animals that come to mind here, and I think there are more.

• Jawfish / crab / shrimp / Triggerfish / hind deep fish (grouper) / Sweetlips/ Tuskfish / Snake eel / Serpent starfish / Harlequin Fish (Othos dentex) / Filefish / Ghost pipefish
• Rasbora/ Sulawesi Harlequin Shrimp / Harlequin Shark (Labeo cyclorhynchus) / harlequin frog - tree frog, toad,  /  harlequin duck / Macaw / rabbit / gecko / Spotted harlequin Snake / harlequin bug (Murgantia histrionica) / beetle / butterfly / ladybird / jumping spider 
• harlequin flower / harlequin glorybower

Already too many for draw at once, so I pick some of them for practice.

I used to be surprised when I was searching data because I have coulrophobia😂

They all have colorful and complex patterns to suit their names.

So I don't know what it would be like to paint these complex design animals in harmony at once.

Well, we don't know until I try 😁

before then, I'll do sketch more.
