* Butterfly and Larva study 🦋

I tried to draw butterflies after the moth and beetles I drew last year, and now I do.

Butterflies are often folded their wings rather than spreadwings like moths.

So I thought about animating from the side form, but I couldn't find a sketch that I liked

So I will not do animation this time, but I tried to draw a flying figure instead.

I watched more YouTube videos than photo resource.

I want the animals in my picture to be as alive as possible.

So I added a lot of angles to see Ventral View or Underwing.

It is fun to know many butterflies to mimic flowers or have wings like dead leaves.

WIP

I modified the butterfly's layout at the end.

Tried to limited parallel lines as possible.

That would make them look more dynamic.

Butterfly Species

✨Holly blue, Giant swallowtail, Orange oakleaf, Ulysses butterfly, Green Hairstreak

🦋Emerald Swallowtail, Queen Alexandra's birdwing, Monarch butterfly, Heliconius butterfly

✨Euryades corethrus, Western Pygmy Blue, Common brimstone, Menelaus blue morpho, Adonis blue, Chinese peacock butterfly

March 14 is White Day, but it's also Moth-thday and learn about Butterflyes Day.

Recently, I learned something from drawing insects.

Insects are eight times faster in extinction than mammals.

There are other reasons such as pesticides, but most is about climate change.

I'm thinking about what more effort I can make.

I looked out of the window today and I saw some Forsythia blooming.

I am looking forward to seeing butterflies soon.

Thank you!

I'm trying to plant as much insect flowers and plants as I can. In France, I've seen the insect population drastically reduce in the past 20 years. This is really sad U_U

Thank you for doing it for the Earth! Maybe the whole world is the same😢
