[ wip ] Jewel Snail (Patreon)

I felt that the shell is beautiful like jewel when I drew abalone painting and this idea poped up my head!

I haven't had much chance to draw jewel before in my personal work.

So it was kind of challenge. 

Someday I heard that it takes more than a week to draw jewelry for an important game character illust(some of my friends are work for game industry as illustrator)

So... As my friends said, drawing jewel took longer to complete than I thought! 😂

(I uploaded the idea sketch yesterday, but it was started after abalone illust)

Every snail was land snails at the first time. 

But when I drew a moonstone snail, I came up with a moon snail. 

So I added some sea snails like Charoite bubble shell and Red Jasper Abalone! 

Well, it would be fun to draw Jewel turtle too, because there are many jem stone that I haven't done yet.
