Making of 'The tiny things' 1 (Patreon)

I saw a lot of fish poop while raising fish.

(2006? 2007? Oh...I drew it almost 12years ago)

Since I have a fish tank, I was naturally interested in the filtration system.

I regularly tested nitrates... I had several test kits that time.

The main character's idea was a kind of bacteria called Nitrosomonas.

They oxidize fish's poop (NH3-N) to NO2-N.

The background was Lake Malawi at first.

So I drew many cichlid.

Later on, it just turned into a 'beautiful lake'.

I moved the big face of the fish that was in the center to the side.

Because books are folded in the middle, important things should not be placed in the center.

I have overlooked this fact at first.. :)

I'll prepare another WIP next time :)
