[WIP] January Poll Image - Pom & Grant at the Mall (Patreon)

Normally I like to clean up my sketches a bit more before posting them, so apologies this is messier and less promising than usual, but after a couple evenings I finally got to a point I feel comfortable to post a WIP of it, despite it being a struggle for multiple reasons. But it will very much be refined by the time it's inked etc.; I'm just feeling a little overwhelmed due to a bit of overambition with this image, but it'll be worth it!

As you can see Examining results from the photo booth won the poll, so I took this as an opportunity to show them examining the said results, but also showing the results to you in a kind of superimposed reel on the side. Almost like comic-frames but also not! I think it helps to show their relationship etc. too.

In case it's hard to tell right now, in the bottom-image of the reel, Pom is showing her glass plug that she has been wearing this whole time! She really likes those things...

Also in case it's also hard to tell, I tried to do a kind of upward-angle for the main image, so the geometric shapes above their heads is supposed to be the glass ceiling of the mall. There's also a bit of palmtrees on the sides. I was going to utilize the ol' 1990s white/pink/cyan color scheme for the mall itself. 

I also decided at the last minute that the reel should be on the right-side of the image so I mirrored it. Therefore when I ink this, the correction will be made for the photo booth to say "PHOTOS—" instead of "—SOTOHP"...

Anyway I don't mean to go on a tangent again, but I figure this is the best time to explain my thoughts, goals and decisions etc., heh.
