News: March and Onward (Patreon)

Just an update on some things! Apologies if this is a kind of tl;dr journal post, but I feel the need to be transparent on what's going on for anyone who is interested. TL;DR version at the bottom!

Firstly, as always I can't thank you all enough for being here, it means so much to me! I apologize for the rather slow month of February but I must mention my wife and I have been taking state-required foster/adoption classes all month with the intention of fostering and/or adopting children soon. I wanted to keep quiet about it but I feel this is a safe place to mention it. Along with the classes, I have been working on the house for the upcoming home-inspection by DHS to make sure they won't find any issues. Our final class is tomorrow so that will free-up plenty of time for March! I appreciate everyone's patience! I have two commissions left in the queue and plan on completing one by the end of this weekend and the last one by the end of the following weekend. So if you're waiting for a commission from me, stay tuned!

Also, the 50 Patron Goal was met a while ago, and believe me I have noticed! Just amazing. I haven't even been on Patreon for a year and the amount of support I've received since then has been outright unbelievable! That said, the "special project featuring giraffe mom's life" will begin soon. It will be an ongoing project that I expect to roll out over the course of this year, but updates for it will be posted along the way. I'm still pondering on how exactly I want to display the lore, whether it's images with some text, or text with images—perhaps in a kind of manga-style? Not sure yet, but it shall begin soon! I just want to make sure it's a consistent project.

As for a new Patreon goal, I was considering a Discord server being one. While I'm still rather uncertain how much of a demand there is exactly for a Discord server, I do think it would be something good to look forward to!
