Mother's Day 2019 (Patreon)

My Mother's Day 2019 image is done! I will post it publicly on Sunday (because that is the day) so this is a bit of a sneak peek for you all.

Story time: I had this image completed with a generic park background a few days ago, but despite it being fairly action-packed, I felt it was... boring. I couldn't pull myself to post it as "complete". There was nothing that screamed "Mother's Day" to me.

But then while I was driving around today, I thought "oh snap what if I made the pic a kind of cover for a magazine meant for parents? Perhaps an offbrand 'Parents' magazine meant for single moms?"

So next I had to think of things to write onto the magazine cover, which was fun! I feel like this image is energized at last.

I have also officially decided I will start doing this ever year... that is, a "Parent." magazine cover. What will next year bring? Stay tuned!
