“Have you heard the news? Fifteen small and medium sects were wiped out just recently.”

“Are you talking about the rampage of the Tailed Asura? Who doesn’t know this news?”

“That is what everyone knows but there is a new development that has been being spread around.”

“Development? What now? Rumors are just rumors without evidence.”

“Yes, but there is evidence. The sects that were destroyed by the Tailed Asura all have connections to the Celestial Heaven Sect. Just like how their sister sect was destroyed, the Tailed Asura seems to have some kind of grudge against the Celestial Heaven Sect.” 

“If that is the case, shouldn’t we stay away from their shops? What if just buying something from their shops brings down the wrath of the Tailed Asura upon us?”

“Would she really kill us?” 

Fear began to well up in the people when this thought came to mind. They did not know if buying things from the Celestial Heaven Sect would implicate them or not. 

While Yuki and the rest were busy trying to work out their plans, the businesses under the Celestial Heaven Sect started to see no customers at all.

“What is the meaning of this!? Why are we not bringing in any spirit stones from any of our businesses? The Dragon Sect even backed off, so why are we not trying to recuperate the losses!?” 

“Sect master… it seems that the word has been spreading that the Tailed Asura has a grudge against our sect. Because of this, they are afraid of being implicated by us and have all moved to buying what they need from the Dragon Sect.”

“Damn it! Why is it always that damned little bitch!? Have we figured out what her true cultivation is yet!?”  

“We have not. It is impossible to say. Even when she was not around, the Demon Queen had attacked sects with the help of the people of the Heavenly Cloud Sect. A new sect that has appeared out of nowhere and seems to be friendly with the Dragon Sect.”

“This was supposed to be easy. Why is a new sect which has no history able to attack us at will? Explain to me why we are unable to protect our own people? If this Heavenly Cloud Sect is in the way, just wipe them out! I thought I told you already to kill this demon queen.”

“We would if we could Sect Master, but… she is on par with our own ancestors. We can not fight her head-on. Not to mention, the demon queen and the Tailed Asura are all from the Heavenly Cloud Sect. This sect was the reason for the downfall of our sister sect in the first place. They took in the mystic races and raised them to this point. To be able to do things in such a short time, they are either demonic cultivators, or they have connections to the upper realm.”

“Oh? Connections to the upper realm, you say?” A young man walked over and sat in the seat next to the Celestial Heaven Sect’s sect master. “Do tell me more.”

 “This is?” The elder who was explaining things to the sect master paused and looked at the sect master for an okay to keep speaking. 

“Go ahead. He is from the main sect in the second upper realm.”

“Then, from the information that we have gathered, the Tailed Asura had joined the sect disguised as a human. She used some kind of transformation technique to make herself human. At that time, she was only in the fate star realm. But it was there that her rise started. 

“She was able to raise her cultivation quickly and do things others of the same realm should not be able to do. But what stuck out the most was her ruthless methods. We are not sure how she cultivates because no one has ever seen her use demonic techniques. But she mainly uses her speed to fight.”

“Oh? I would like to meet this so-called genius. What if I offered her a chance to cultivate in the upper realm? Maybe she will take that as a peace offering to let things be. Otherwise, we can just kill her. There is no need to let her live if she can not be of any help to our Celestial Heaven Sect.”

“I am not sure if that is possible….” The elder was instantly interrupted by his sect master.

“We will do just that. You are kind to offer such a chance. To be able to cultivate in the upper realm without needing to break through is something every cultivator of this trash realm would look forward to.”

“Your Excellency, I do not think that she will take up such an offer…” The elder felt that even if such an offer was given that Yuki would not take it. He had no way of proving this, but it was just how he felt.
