“Is everything taken care of?” Nana asked as she gave Yuki a hug.

“Mmm…. The sect masters that were missing are now being used as toys by demonic beasts. My mother’s memories are being overwritten by the sect master as well. She will probably become reliant on him, but it is for the best.” Yuki replied as she hugged Nana back.

“I am glad you were able to find your mother. But this also just strengthens our resolve since we know they are doing such things. Chi was somewhat lucky, but the others….” Selene bit her lip. She hated evil. She hated it when people did things like this. This was why she was always trying to save her sect mates who had fallen on the evil path. 

Selene never thought of herself as evil, even if she was a demonic cultivator. She also did not see demonic cultivators as evil either. Only those who fell to the evil ways. She had met many so-called righteous cultivators who were just as evil as demonic cultivators who fell on the evil path.

“Yes, I got lucky. But sadly…. We have not found any dragonkin yet. We also do not know anything about any other races either. We can only hope the main sect has them. How far along are we now?” Yuki asked. She knew her girls had been busy the past few days.

“We should be safe to take on the main sect, but it’s strange. They have not made any moves yet.” Delia had been trying to figure out why, but there was an issue with this sect. “None of my shadows are able to enter the sect either. They have a very powerful barrier that even I can not bypass.”

“If that is the case, then we should be more careful from now on. If you can not bypass their barrier array, then it means they have someone from the upper realm within the sect.” Yuki pondered for a moment. She began to wonder if they should strike now or wait until the other girls were stronger.

“Yuki, if I may suggest….” Selene started: “What if we waited a while before attacking? The Celestial Heaven Sect has been around for tens of thousands of years. It is a sect that is sure to have connections to the realms above. Whether it be the truth path of cultivation of the new path, if we are not careful, we might end up becoming enemies with both.”

“I know this this. This is why I am trying to decide what to do. If we do attack now and they have someone from the upper realms here, then we will end up bringing disaster to our sect. But if we leave them alone and make them think we gave up, they might send those people back.

“From what I know, those who come from the upper realm are no more powerful than Delia and I due to heavenly restrictions. But if their skills can be brought over, such as arrays. Maybe we should speak with the Dragon Sect and set up a meeting with their sect master. Maybe we can figure something out.” Yuki tapped her chin. She was not sure how to go about things at this time. She knew she could not go on an all-out attack if they had someone powerful enough to hold her and Delia down.

“Yuki, I need to correct one thing in your statement. While I do have my powers sealed, I can also unseal them if needed for a short time. This not only attracts heavenly punishment but also those who are out to kill me in the upper realm.” Delia explained.

“I see, so releasing the seal is very risky and should only be used in situations where your life or death is of concern. We may be able to use that to our advantage. If we can replicate the feeling of someone undoing their seal, we may be able to trick the ones who came down from the upper realm into doing the same, which in turn would cause them to suffer heavenly punishment.” Yuki’s lips curled up. “Ever seen heavenly lightning fry an old man?”

“I am sure we will soon.” Delia let out a laugh.

“Then let’s head back for now. We can work on both cultivation and the how to fake  breaking a seal.” Yuki really wondered if they could pull it off. If they can, then that means they might be able to trick their enemies into doing the same. But they first had to figure out how to go about this. 

Just faking a seal break is one part of the trick; the second part is creating a spirit pressure to match. This was the hard part, and in order to do that, they would need to come up with a method to affect those of the same level or above with a pressure that will make them want to kneel. Only when they get to this point might they be able to trick their enemies into doing what they wanted. Although the chances were slim, it was worth a shot.
