“Only if you are putting a new one on. This way, we can keep the same connection. What if something happens and we are split up? We would need you to be able to call us back to your side.” Miyumi still wished to be Shizuku’s slave. “I agree with Miyu,” Mei replied. Mei never even thought of not being Shizuku’s slave. Shizuku had given her so many things. She did not wish to lose any of it.

“Then, let’s do that. I will remove the old brands and give you new ones. This way, it’s my brand and not someone else’s.” With that said, Mei and Miyumi had their slave brands removed and new ones added on. 

“There. Now I want to give you both an order. Unless revoked, you can move around as you please. But if for any reason you need to come to my side, you may teleport to me at any time.” The contract marks glowed slightly, showing that the order had been placed, which made Shizuku smile.

“I must say you are a quick learner. You picked up how to cast the spell almost instantly.” Lishia was very amazed at how quickly Shizuku picked things up. She had only shown her the magic circle two times before she was able to form it. Such spells, such as slave marks, were magic-based spells that were of the dark type, which were learned from others or created yourself, but one had to have an affinity with dark magic to even be able to cast such spells. This showed that Shizuku had such an affinity.

“Now me….” Mino suddenly spoke up. She was already lifting her shirt, revealing her petite body underneath. Her fair white skin really stood out inside the dimly lit cave. “You do realize I plan to go to battle with the church in the future, right?” Shizuku would not hesitate to use everything at her disposal if it meant being able to take them down. 

“That’s fine. I hate how they work anyway. I have friends all over the world. You know how I feel about the goddess as well.” Lishia replied. “But could you hurry? It’s kind of chilly in here like this.”

Shizuku did not know what to say. But she had to admit that having a sword saint at her side was also not too bad. Shizuku also put the mark on Lishia. She never expected to gain two extra slaves on this trip. “There, done. Let me give you your order, too, or else you can’t travel like you want.”

After finishing up, Shizuku sat down to find Mino settling herself into her lap. Shizuku looked at Mei and Miyumi, who both giggled and shrugged, not caring what the new girl did, which made Shizuku let out a sigh and hug the druid from behind. 

“When the rain lets up, we will head to town. I really wish to take a proper bath. Wiping down with cold water is no fun.” Shizuku wouldn’t mind running around naked out in the rain, but she was afraid someone would see her. 

“Hopefully, it will let up in the next day or two, or else we will be stuck here a while. By then, we might be all too sticky  to even move.” Lishia gave Shizuku a wide grin. It seemed Lishia was already quite sticky.
