“So she is?” Miyumi wondered if Mino was now Lishia’s slave.

“No…. I can’t do such a thing myself. First off, I go into dangerous places, and I am contracted by the Kingdom of Selous to help defend against the behemoths. They are on the border to the Forbidden Lands, where monsters rule. And since I can be called out at any time, I can not have Mino at my side during that time.” Lishia explained.

“The Forbidden Lands?” Shizuku was quite interested in this place.

“It is part of the northern end of the continent. It is overrun with monsters and is the breeding ground for behemoths. These monsters are so big that some are as big as mountains. It takes many level 70s and over to kill a single one. That is just how strong they are.” Lishia answered. She sighed, just thinking about it. “You have no idea how many times I have almost died fighting those things, but…. The Kingdom of Selous is not cheap in payment. If I was not someone who wanted to grow stronger all the time, I could have settled down for life ten times over now.”

“I am only able to take Mino around for the time being. I planned to leave her in Fallen territory, where she would be more protected with some people I knew. But….” Lishia looked at Shizuku and grinned. “Since you are so good to your slaves, what do you think of taking Mino on as well?”

“Hmm? Just so you know, I am not as good as you think I am. If Mino were to join us, I might strip her naked and eat her pussy. Is that okay?” Shizuku had no plans to take on any more slaves for the time being, so she was hoping to use this method to turn Lishia down since she had noticed that Lishia was a pushy person.

“Wow! I never would have thought you would say such a thing. Hahaha!” Lishia let out a laugh. She turned to look at Mino, whose face was bright red. But she still did not give up. “Just think it over. We have plenty of time to get to know one another, and I think Mino’s abilities will be quite useful to you.” 

“Why are you so keen on pushing her to me?” Shizuku was wondering about this. Mainly because they had just met, it made no sense for Lishia to trust her so much.

“Because you are not from this world. You are also a hero. You have a standing that others do not. Even in the Fallen territory, Summon heroes are actually respected. Not to mention I have a feeling with how you treat the other two under your care that you would never do anything to hurt Mino. She has had a rough life. So I am hoping you can show her not everyone is bad.” Lishia replied.

“Well… let me think about it.” Shizuku did not give an answer right away. She did not know Mino. She did not know if Mino could fit in with her group or not. While having some extra help in a dungeon would be good, she did not know how well it would work out. Team synergy was a must. 

“Alright. Then it’s settled. While we travel, Little Mino here will try to show her good sides.” Lishia smiled and patted Mino on the head. The druid girl had dark green hair that had two horns sticking out of her head. She wore a black hooded cape over her body and normally had her hood pulled up over her head, but at this time, it was down as they walked.

The group traveled until nightfall before moving off the road to the darkness, a large rock that bent in a way that gave some shelter from the elements. It had started raining at one point, making it hard to see that far ahead. The rain was really coming down and did not seem to be willing to stop any time soon.

“We actually got caught in a hard rain….” Lishia seemed to not be too happy.

“What is a hard rain?” Miyumi asked.

“It’s a kind of storm that sits in place. They form out of nowhere and do not stop raining for days. The areas that are hit are usually flooded somewhat badly. Luckily, this place is hilly, and we are at the top. Let me cut into the rock a bit. We can make a better shelter.” Lishia pulled out her sword and began slicing away at the rock. Her strokes were clean and accurate. When she was done, a small cave had formed within the huge boulder.

Originally, there was barely enough room for them to all stand out of the rain, but now they could even start a fire and warm themselves up and dry their clothes. “MIno can you make a door?”

“Y-yes….” Mino nodded and waved her hand. A few roots popped out of the ground and curled up around the entrance, making a door. Shizuku knew that Lishia was giving Mino a chance to display her abilities. And well, Shizuku did find it quite interesting.
