Chi took a while to calm down, but she refused to let go of Yuki. She was still scared that everything was a dream and that as soon as she let go, she would wake back up in that scary place. The place where she was tortured and had her blood drained from her body. She was only given a sludge for food, which she was forced to eat to keep her alive. She had no choice but to go to the bathroom in place. She was stung up against the wall with no way of moving. She felt so ashamed she wanted to die. But even when she did try to kill herself, she was beaten until she could barely move. After a while, she became numb to everything. The only upside was they never did anything else to her. She was beaten and had her blood drained, but nothing more.

“Chi, from now on, you will be safe. No one will ever harm you again. I promise you this.” Yuki knew Chi’s condition well. She, too, had gone through the trauma of torture. The only thing that kept her going was her will to grow stronger. If not for that, she might have long died when she woke up that day and left that hell.

“Yuki….” Chi whispered while burying her face into Yuki’s chest. Her tears were still rolling down her cheeks.

“Chi…. My parents…” Yuki bit her lip. She did not know if Chi knew what happened to them or not. She did hope she did. If they died, she would hold a funeral for them. If they were alive someplace, she would find them and tear the people apart who had them.

“Your…. Your father…. He was killed that day…. They killed him when we got to the meeting point. He tried to pull one of the men who was touching your mother away. As for your mother…. I…. I don’t know. She was not taken to where I was….” Chi shivered just thinking about it. Yuki, on the other hand, eyes were glowing red. She did not know if her mother was alive, but they had actually killed her father for trying to protect her mother.

“I see….” Yuki took a deep breath. “It seems I need to be a lot more cruel to the people of this sect. I will shave their skins one by one and let their blood flow through these lands.”

“Yuki?” Chi had never seen the kind and sweet Yuki she knew with such an expression before. But it did not scare her. Even the aura she was giving off did not scare chi but instead made her feel as if everything would soon be over.

“Sorry.” Yuki smiled at Chi and caressed her head. “I will be sure to avenge our village. I will be sure to make sure all those who dared to harm our Celestial Fox clan die in the most horrible way.”

“Mm…” Chi nodded as her eyes grew heavy. A wave of relief seemed to sweep over her. Yuki’s familiar smell gave the reassurance that their clan would be avenged. All of it seemed to make her relax to the point that she passed out once more.

Yuki gently laid Chi down before covering her and standing up. “I need to talk with the others.”

Five minutes later Yuki sat with the other girls and began laying out her plans. “The Celestial Heaven sect needs to be wiped out. Every member needs to be killed. We can not ascend until we know for a fact that each of their sect members is dead. I do not wish to see a single weed left growing. Each one needs to be plucked and skinned alive. I want to create a river of blood that will split this continent. We will be making our move in two days time. Make sure you get enough rest. This means no cultivating just rest.”

“That’s fine but who will watch over Chi?” Nana asked out of concern.

“I will get the sect master to look after her. He can help her with her current cultivation. We will give him the path of true cultivation as well and see if he can help her cultivate to the qi condensation realm while we are out destroying the Celestial Heaven sect.”

“Sec Master Tidus…. Why are you protecting them?” The Celestial Heaven Sect’s Grand elder asked.

“When is it your position to ask me about what I am doing? Coming here on your own violation means you are afraid. We are already at war but you still dared to come here and question me? Let me tell you something Grand Elder Jinsoo. Even if I were not protecting them, you could not touch them. Your people have finally kicked a metal wall. You took the largest boulder you could find and dropped it on your foot. You have played around too long and now you and your people will suffer. Since you dared to show yourself, I will dare to make sure you never leave here alive.” The dragon Sect’s sect master stood up. His dragon aura filled the room weighing heavily down on the grand elder of the Celestial Heaven Sect.

“You! You dare to try to kill me!?” the grand elder of the Celestial Heaven Sect roared.

“Dare? I do not dare do anything. I never dare to do a thing. I just do it. There is no need to dare for anything since I am a man of my word.”
