A few hours later, Shizuku and her group left the entrance to the Underridge dungeon. Bradly, who had been quiet all this time, let out a breath of air as he came out of the corner he had hidden in. “About time those bitches left! They are lucky they left when they did, or I would have shown them a thing or two.”

“Showed who a thing or two?” A voice came from behind Bradly, causing him to almost jump out of his skin. He turned to see the devil herself standing there, looking at him blankly.

“Eeek!” Bradly screamed like a little girl and fainted.

Shizuku blinked a few times and looked at the others, who were all on the ground laughing, and sighed. “Am I really that scary?” She walked over to where she had camped and rummaged around a bit before picking up a small pouch and then putting it away. “Glad it was still here.”

Shizuku was about to leave, but when she looked at Bardly, who was passed out on the ground, an idea came to mind, which made her chuckle. She walked over to one of the female adventurers and whispered into her ear. “Do you think you can do it? If not, forget it; I don’t want you to get hurt.”

“Hehe… no…. I will be very glad to do it.” The adventurer girl replied. She looked quite excited and raring to go.

“Cool! Thanks. I wish I could be here to see it, but I need to go. The others are waiting. Be careful all, and thanks for not treating me as an outsider.” Shizuku smiled and waved at everyone before turning to leave.

“Have fun!”

“Take care!”

The adventurers who had been scared of Shizuku all shouted out. They realized that she was actually quite nice. She did not hold anything against them and even gave a departing thanks. One of the older adventurers could only let out a sigh. “Such a nice girl being shunned is a sin. As Lishia has already said, Goddess Yunni is everyone’s goddess, not just a single race’s goddess.”

“Yeah, but it is good she will have Lishia at her side. No one will dare say a word to her or treat her badly.”

“Hey, little Sammy, what did our Vampire Princess ask you to do?” One of the adventurers asked. He was very curious.

“Just wait for Bradly to wake up.” The replied with a sneaky grin.

Half an hour later….

“Gah… What happened? I swear I got his by something just now.” Bradly tried to play it off as if he was hit in the head. He hoped it would make people think that Shizuku had sneak attacked him.

“You were hit by something. What was it?” A voice once more came from behind Bradly.

“Eek!” He didn’t even turn around to see who it was before passing out again.

“Bahahahaha!” Everyone bursted out laughing. “Do it again! Do it again!”

About a half hour later….

“Twice…. She hit me twice!” Bradly woke up screaming this time.

“I hit you were?” The female adventure was once more behind him as she spoke into his ear.

“Akk!” And down he went once more, which resulted in another round of laughter.

“When he wakes again, let’s tell him that he has been passed out for over a hundred years, and we are all ghosts!”

“I can go along with that! Hahaha!”

For the rest of the day, Bradly was tricked into thinking that he had been sleeping for hundreds of years and that he was surrounded by ghosts. Since it seemed to be one of his worst fears, he ended up fainting every time he woke up. You could say that thanks to Shizuku, these adventurers all had something entertaining to watch and do for the day. The next day, when Bradly woke up, he raced out of the campsite without looking back, leaving behind all his gear. It would only be fifty years later that a story about a Fallen girl who massacred an entire camp, leaving only a single person alive, would spread. Of course, no names were given about who was who.

A few miles down the road, after Shizuku left the camp, Lishia’s laughter echoed through the air. “Hahaha! I wish I could be there to see it. I am sure it would be amazing.”

“I just couldn’t resist after I saw him pass out at the sight of me.”  Shizuku smiled. She felt much better now that she had done a good deed.

“That is true. I would have done the same.” Lishia agreed. “So, are you not going to ask?”

“Hmmm?” Shizuku was confused. She did not know what she should be asking about.

“You are not going to ask about Mino?” Lishia found it funny that they had not asked about her companion yet.

“Ah! Well…. I can’t say I am not curious, but I found it rude to ask, so I didn’t. I mean, if you are willing to tell, I am willing to listen, but I do not want to force anything. Everyone has their own secrets.” Shizuku replied. She looked at Miyumi and Mei, who both nodded as well.

“Well, You see, Mino is a rare druid. Her race is almost extinct, thanks to humans. I saved her from a slave trader a month ago, and she has been following me ever since.”
