In a private room at a nearby restaurant, Yi Ning sat her little beauty down. “Take a break and relax.”

“Young Miss…” Bi’er was still not used to this kind of gentleness, but she was happy her young miss cared so much about her.

“Little Maid, you are lucky that your master is so nice. Most people would not care about a maid.” Xia Min thought even better of Yi Ning after watching her interactions with her maid. All the rumors of the second young miss of General Yi’s mansion were all but lies. What kind of unruly and arrogant young miss was Yi Ning? Would an unruly and arrogant person care so much about their maid? In Xia Min’s mind, this was something that would not happen.

“Minmin, who could not care about my little beauty? I mean, isn’t she just too cute?” Yi Ning hugged her little beauty with a satisfied smile.

Xia Min was taken aback by how she was called just now, but she did not hate it. “It is true that she is cute. But there are those who would not care at all. My guess is that if she was part of any other household, she would have already been pregnant by now.” 

“Geh…. Who wants a wiggly up in there!?”  Yi Ning made a face that showed just how disgusted she was by such a thought, which made Xia Min laugh out loud. Even Bi’er, who had been quiet this entire time, found it highly amusing. 

“So you really are into girls, huh?” Xia Min asked once more.

“Of course! But only beauties that are older than me. Although I do not mind playing around….” Yi Ning winked at Xia Min, who quickly waved her hand.

“No thanks! I was just asking.” Xia Min could see Yi Ning purse her lips, so she decided to change the subject. “You are much different from the rumors.”

“Rumors?” Yi Ning looked over at her little beauty, who blushed slightly before answering.

“Young Miss, First Young Miss, and Third Young Miss have spread many rumors about you. Like how Young Master Li had always been in love with First Young Miss and First Young Miss had always been in love with Young Master Li, but because you threw a fit, you made Master allow you to get engaged to Young Master Li. About how even though you were engaged to Young Master Li, you still went out and slept with many men. How you are unruly and bully both of your sisters.” Bi’er kept going on and on.

Yi Ning’s head was spinning. She had no idea that being reborn came with so much fun! “Hehe….” Yi Ning rubbed her hands together. “I guess I need to slap some faces and punch some eyes. They dare to spread rumors about me?”

“If you want, I can ask a homeless man to spread rumors about the two of them.” Xia Min offered. She hated those back courtyard antics. She did not know why, after all this time in the modern era that these things were still going on.

“No. That is too childish. What you need to do in situations is make a grand display of things.” Yi Ning’s lips curled up. “Since I am so vicious, they won’t mind if I tell a few stories, right?”

“Stories?” Both Xia Min and Bi’er asked at the same time in confusion.

“Yes Stories. Like how my third sister is actually a boy and cross-dresses as a girl. It’s hard to tell since he has such a small wiggly. Or how my Elder Sister has foot fungus that is invisible. It is very contagious, and she hardly washes her hands after scratching her feet. Or how that one time….” Yi Ning began making up story after story. Each one was more grand than the last.

“What!? Are you really going to tell such stories!?” Xia Min was doing her best to hold back her laughter. But the one where First Young Miss Yi got so scared by a spider that she fell into a pile of horse dung face first was just too much. She burst out laughing. The thing about these stories was that they were believable. The more Yi Ning said, the more interesting and believable the stories got.

“So what do you think? Should I hold story time? We could do it right here in this restaurant.” Yi Ning grinned as she looked at the two.

“You might be able to. But will they kick you out? I do know that this restaurant is owned by CEO Song. She is one of the most powerful people in the dynasty. I am not sure if they will allow it.” Xia Min really wanted to hear more stories since it was quite entertaining. But she also did not wish to anger CEO Song.

“It will be fine. I am cute. How can she say no to me?” Yi Ning did not think anyone would deny her this little bit of fun. It was not like she was harming the restaurant.

“Then let’s ask.” Xia Min pressed the button next to her to call the waiter in. 

A few minutes later, a waiter walked through the door and bowed his head. “What can I do for you, Miss Xia?”

“My friend here wants to hold a story time downstairs. I was wondering if this was possible?” Xia Min asked.

“I will need to check….” The waiter never heard such a strange request. He could only call it in. He quickly called the manager, who told him to hold on. This same manager said he would need to check with the boss, so he hung up and made a call to Wei Yan, Song Mei’s assistant.

“Yes?” Wei Yan answered the call.

“Miss Wei, a customer is asking to do a story time here at the restaurant. I believe it is Miss Xia Min and Miss Yi Ning.” The manager explained.

“Yi Ning?” Wei Yan thought for a moment before a smile formed on her lips. “Yeah, let them do as they please. Also, treat Young Miss Yi Ning as if you are dealing with the boss. She is a very important person to the boss.” 

Wei Yan was hoping to score some points with her boss by doing this. She couldn’t wait to tell Song Mei. “I wonder if she will give me a raise….”
