*Bang!*

The door slams open startling Kori who had just woken up. She had her sword in her hand and was already freezing the ground around her when she suddenly halted all actions when she saw who it was. “Aeko! What the hell are you doing!? I almost turned you into an ice cube!”

“No time for that! We need to hurry to the tower! Myu is in trouble! She killed over one hundred people on the second floor… The guilds that they were a part of are sending people there now.” 

“What!?” Kori was trying to wrap her head around it. “Why would the Myu do that unless….” 

Kori jumped out of bed and began stripping her nightwear off. She quickly donned her armor and started heading downstairs, Aeko following right after her. “We need to rush or we will not be able to stop the other guilds. And… I did not say it earlier but it seems Dio has escaped. He must have snuck into the tower. If he really is in there and attacks Myu with his full strength, I am afraid….”

“What!? Why didn’t you tell me that earlier!?” Kori was even more worried now as she charged forward as fast as she could. Being someone who had fought her way to the tenth floor she was not slow in the slightest. Aeko was also hot on her heels and they both reached the tower gates quickly. The guards did not even dare to stop them as they two ran by without even giving them so much as a glance. 

It only took them thirty minutes to reach the second floor, where many strong climbers could be seen. They had many encampments, as it seemed they were searching for Myu only on the second floor. Whether or not they had begun their search on the third floor was not known yet.

“Ice Princess? What brings you here?” A tall, handsome man asked as he walked over to Kori. 

“Tell me, where were the people supposedly killed?” Kori asked.

“Near the boss room, the forest there has been leveled to the ground and is now charred earth. Although the tower seems to be trying to heal it.” The man replied before adding: “If you want, I can…..” 

He did not even get to finish his words before Kori took off running once more with Aeko right behind her. He could only stand there and sigh. He felt such a beautiful girl should really find a man. But it seems he was not destined to be that man. He turned back around and went to his guilds camp, where his friends all laughed and him and teased him.

On the third floor, Myu and Yuu were walking down a long dirt road that had large fields of grass on either side. The grass was not all that tall and was soft to the touch. “So, Big Sister, had you killed a lot of monsters to get to the third floor?”

“Hmm? So so?” Myu tilted her head. “Things stood in front of me, so I burned them. Things attacked me, so I burned them. Things annoyed me, so I burned them.”

“Hahaha!” Yuu had to admit this girl resembled her in many ways. She was the same way. She had also burnt everything that got in her way. Those who dared to oppose her died by her flames. She was glad she did not make a mistake in picking this girl. She was the perfect host for her powers.

“How did you get here? You do not seem all that strong….” Myu asked with a bit of curiosity. The first time she ever wanted to know anything about this new attachment of hers.

“Ugh… Some old man dropped me in here. When I get a chance, I will smack him….”

*Bang!* 

The lightning bolt suddenly struck not too far away from the two girls causing Yuu to jump in fright. She looked up at the sky and put on a sour face. She never thought the old man would take the time to watch her! But now that she thought about it, the old man did actually let her descend without much of a fight. A realization suddenly dawned on her! The old man was actually using her as a test dummy! He was seeing if she, the Goddess of Wrath, was able to survive in the mortal world without causing much of an issue. Even the seal on her powers could be broken at any time if she willed it.

When she realized this, she could only sigh and wonder if she would end up bringing about a new dawn, a dawn of when the gods descended on the land below and mingled with the mortals. If they did it would mean a whole new era in which even demi gods might be born. But now that she thought about it. She looked at Myu, this little who had been given her blessing was basically a demi god as well. She had instilled a great amount of power into her, allowing her to be immortal. 

Myu looked at the black haired golden eyed girl next to her, who was in deep thought, and shrugged. Her goal now was to reach the top of the tower and wish her sister back into existence. Only then would she feel like she had finally accomplished something.

On the floor below, Kori and Aeko were holding their heads when they saw the burnt landscape. “She really did a number on this place….”

“She sure did. If anyone was caught up in this fire, then they would have definitely burned to death.
