Yuki had no idea how many days, maybe even months or years, had passed. She long stopped counting. Rize and her had been working on trying to find the correct path this entire time.

“Yuki! I found it! It’s faint but its definitely your world. I can sense the faint thread of spiritual qi.” Rize suddenly announced.

“Then open a path. We have been here a long time.” Yuki really wanted to sit in a hot bath. While the two of them could keep clean using mana, it was nothing like a normal bath.

“On it!” Rize was all smiles as well. She, too, was thinking about the hot bath that awaited her. With a wave of her hand, she tore a hole in front of her, creating a wormhole of sorts through space-time that would send them back.

Yuki took Rize’s hand and stepped forward pulling the girl with her. And in almost an instant, they appeared once more. When they did appear, they both covered their eyes as the bright light of day came into view.

“How long has it been since we have seen daylight?” Yuki could feel the warmth of the sun on her skin. She smelled the familiar air and looked around to see that they were high in the sky above an ocean. The spiritual qi was also flowing towards her saturating her body. Something she had not felt in a long time.

“It’s good to be home.” Yuki looked off towards a certain direction and sent her divine sense out. In no time at all, she found land. “This way.”

“Mm… You are not going to check on the girls?” Rize asked. She figured Yuki would want to check on the others first.

“Not yet. I want to make sure we are on the correct world first before doing anything.” Yuki explained as she flew towards her destination.

A few hours later, they finally reached land, where Yuki landed and stretched her legs. “This should be the Mainland. It’s been a long time since I been here…”

Yuki suddenly frowned when she felt a force pulling on her. It was as if it was trying to suck something out of her body. She quickly waved her hand and created an array around her heart where her space was located. “Yuki?” Rize was confused by Yuki’s actions because she did not feel anything.

“That bastard just tried to pry open my space. It seems he is already aware of the space.” Yuki replied. “I just put a barrier around it but if we are to enter it then we will need to do so with in a strong enough barrier. I am protecting it for the time being but if I open a gate into it that being might be able to forcefully do something.”

“Then let’s head back to your sect. Speaking of which what do you plan to do with the sect itself?” Rize was curious. The space that Yuki had was very big, and it could accommodate her entire sect if she so wished.

“I will talk with the sect master first. If he is willing then I will bring the entire sect into the space. It will be a good place for them to grow. And when the time is right we can establish ourselves in the immortal realm.” Yuki had plenty of time to think about this and she felt this was the best solution. It would protect her home from the being who might one day break free, and if it did, what exactly would it do?

“That is a good idea. Let me know when you decide to do that. My family can back you.” Rize smiled and held Yuki’s hand. She was now one of Yuki’s wives so there was no way she would not give her all to helping her lover.

“Then I will be relying on you.” Yuki replied. “Let’s head out.” The two once more took to the air and flew towards the Heavenly Cloud Sect.

Fluffy white clouds floated through the air. Haruhi was busy dealing with sect matters. Lately they had been having an influx of new disciples wanting to join. “I wonder if they will ever return…”

“Who do you want to return?” A voice asked from behind Haruhi.

“Yuki and the others. It’s been five years now and we haven’t heard from them… hmmm? This voice!” Haruhi swung her head around and looked at the familiar face in a daze. The familiar fox hears, and the tails that swayed back and forth behind her. “Yuki!”

“Hehe, I’m back!” Yuki grinned as she opened her arms. Haruhi dived into them and hugged her tightly.

“It’s good that you are back! Everyone thought you were dead! You… You should visit your mother. She has not been doing well this entire time. If not for Master, she probably would have starved herself to death.”
