You may go out and about as normal, but you will always belong to the Korli.” The Korli who was sitting in front of her, gave one final warning. But Claire did not care. She only cared about getting her revenge.

“You are my target?” Bengard really wanted to cry. Who the hell asks someone to kill a tenth runic circle magi!? He had yet to do an investigation. Normally, they would agree to terms before agreeing to the job but the girl said that the target in question was actually a young woman. So he did not think too much about it but now he regretted agreeing so quickly! The girl was indeed young but she was very powerful!

“That’s right. But don’t worry. I won’t do anything to you. But you will need to agree to my terms.” Yuki elegantly sat down on the couch and crossed her legs as she rested her hands on her knees. With a smile on her face, she said: “Shall we discuss business?”

Bengard quickly nodded his head. And the pressure in the room disappeared. He knew right now they were not talking cash business but life or death business. Or more like he had no choice but to agree to what ever business she would propose.

“Good, now let me start with this. I want you to follow through with Miss Benson’s request. I will disappear tomorrow and not show up at the academy. You contact her and bring her into the family. But… while I know you treat the women under you very well, I want you to give her the worst conditions you can muster. She is also not allowed to leave this palace. Plus, you did not know who I was, but if you kept your pride and tried to attack me anyway, I would have leveled this entire mountain making it your entire clan’s burial ground.” Yuki smiled as she stood up and cupped her hands bowing slightly to Bengard. “It is a pleasure doing business with you.”

“Yes, it is a pleasure,” Bengard repeated what. Yuki did not understanding what it was but figured it was a gesture of goodwill. He then watched as the girl’s entire appearance changed. Her red hair turned pure white, then to black. She had suddenly gone from a fox girl to a human making Bengrad gulp. If this girl was really able to change her appearance wouldn’t that mean she could appear as one of his kin? He really would not know how he died if she decided to have some fun before slaughtering his family.
