IGSAGCSAWAYSH) Some Enemies Use Their Brains (Patreon)

“No we will wait a moment. It seems three of the groups are about to make their move at the same time.” Alicia replied. She had a strange feeling that she will be glad she did not attack on this day.
Shizuku came to a stop when she sensed something off. “Everyone get ready for battle.”
“Monsters?” Lishia was the first to get into position, her sword drawn.
“No. Vampires,” Shizuku replied. “Number one, you and the sisters are to protect Mino. Mino, you will be on heals. Miyumi is with Rose. Mei is with Lishia. I will go solo.” Shizuku quickly issued commands, and everyone took up their positions.
Their quick reaction surprised Alicia, who was watching from afar. “She reacts quickly, and no one argues when she gives an order. The way they move shows their trust in their leader.”
“Do you think they will win?” Jill asked. She knew one thing for sure: When it came to battle, Alicia was the one to count on. Her ability to determine her enemies' abilities was always on point.
“I think we were right to stay out of this. Our target is going solo, which means she is confident. We can only watch for now and see how things turn out. If it proves that the target is too powerful, we will retreat.” Alicia was not stupid. It was not worth killing A newborn if it meant dying.
Back on Shizuku’s side, she watched as twenty people suddenly appeared from all sides. Two groups of seven and one group of six. Each seemed to be led by a single person. One female and two men. The female was wearing a red dress that did not seem suited for combat at all. One of the men was wearing a suit while the other was wearing what looked like a muscle shirt and a pair of shorts.
“Deeg, I think you should retreat.” The man in the suit said with a light chuckle as he looked at the muscle shirt wearing man.
“Trevor, I think it is you who needs to retreat. As well as Miss Crimson over there.” Deeg replied.
“Oh? Deeg, are you trying to chase little old me away? Isn’t that a bit cold?” Miss Crimson asked, her seductive voice flowing through the air.
“Heh, your little parlor tricks won’t work on me. Scram before I turn that sexy body of yours into mush.” Deeg replied with a snort. None of them seemed to be on good terms.
“Deeg, you are really talking big. That is no way to speak to a lady. How about I beat the aspects of a gentleman into your body?” Trevor stepped forward and seemed as if he was about to attack when a light cough came from in front of them. They all turned to look at the white-haired girl standing there with her crimson-red eyes glowing slightly.
“Are you three here to put on a play for me?” Shizuku asked as she lifted her hand. “Or did you come here for me to kill you? I will give you one chance. Leave and never bother me again, or I will kill you all where you stand.” Invisible to the eye, Shizuku had already formed twenty bloody needles. Each one was capable of reaping the lives of these people.
“Hmmm? We are arguing over who gets to kill you. Just stand there and wait to die.” Deeg yelled with a snort. He hated it when his prey acted all big.
“So you will not heed my warning.” Shizuku could only sigh. If these vampires were smart, they would have just attacked her instead of arguing amongest themselves. It was as if she was some kind of prize that they had already seen as their own. She did not know if they were stupid or what, but it seemed as if her death had already been guaranteed.
Shizuku’s words did not even reach their ears. But this was also good. If they had attacked, then her people would have needed to fight, but since they all decided to argue and ignore her, this made things easier for her. Shizuku flicked her finger and then began walking down the road once more. Miyumi and the rest quickly followed after her. They already knew what had happened, so they did not need any orders. They just followed after her as if nothing had happened.
Alicia, Jill, and Ela were all confused. The target just walked past the vampires who had come to attack her. But the vampires were not doing anything. In fact, they were not doing anything at all. They were just standing there.
“What the hell is going on?” Alicia was very confused. She quickly picked up her sword and began making her way over, with Jill and Ela following after her. When they arrived, Alicia’s face turned pale. “They are dead! All of them!”
“This… their hearts have been destroyed!” Jill cried out. “But how!?”
“Alicia, this is a little strange. It’s been strange from the beginning. Why would an announcement be given when a new vampire has suddenly appeared? This has never happened before. And now this.” Ela really did not like this whole situation.
“The news came from the queen herself. It was as if a bounty… No… this is not a bounty! We are the bounty! The queen was sending us to our deaths! And the way these vamps were killed….” Alicia’s brain was spinning, and then a crazy idea suddenly appeared in her mind. “Blood manipulation! Shit! We are leaving and leaving now!”
