5 years later…

“Chi you are almost at the nascent soul realm.” Yuki smiled as she patted Chi on the head. Everyone else was already at the peak of the nascent soul realm. They were only a step away from becoming immortals.

“Hehe. I never thought it would ever reach this far in cultivation.” Chi was all smiles. While she could cultivate very fast she also had to work on her foundation which took more time. She was also training in magi qi as well.

“Yuki I found an entrance.” Delia landed in front of Yuki with a big smile on her face. The entrance she was talking about was the entrance to a location that was actually hidden under the Holy Land. The place where the mortal realm’s spiritual qi seemed to gather.

“Do you think that being is actually there?” Yuki asked. She had been wanting to figure out where the figure from ancient times actually went. Where it had sealed itself and see if this was the reason the demonic cultivators were falling on the wrong path.

“I am not sure but there is a powerful seal at the entrance blocking anything from being able to get through except for spiritual qi. So what ever is sealed inside is very powerful.” Delia replied.

“If this thing has truly been the cause of my sect mates falling under the influence of the wrong path of demonic cultivation, then I to stop it no matter what.” Selene eyes were burning with determination. She did not wish to see any more people lose their minds doing demonic cultivation.

“I also want to know why the mortal realm’s cultivation path changed.” Yuki wondered if this being or whatever it was had decided the mortal realm was not giving it enough spiritual qi. So in order to gain more it decided to change the path and create a new upper realm that would give it even more spiritual qi. But to have such power is just….

“Yuki, are we leaving Master here?” Nana asked as she looked over at the egg. It had not changed at all in the past five years.

“We will leave her in the care of the old man. He will be more than happy to watch over her for us.” Yuki replied. She had no idea when her Master would hatch from her egg but it was slowly taking in spiritual qi. But only small amounts. “I will need a way to take her with us to the immortal realm.”

“We will figure it out. We have been searching for a long time now, right?” Silvia knew how much Yuki had been looking for a method to take people with her. But there did not seem to be any kind of method to bring a live person with them.

When one ascended to the immortal realm, they could only take non-living things with them. This normally meant the clothing on their back or weapons. Even with a space pouch, it was impossible to bring a living thing with them. But Yuki was hoping to find some kind of treasure that fused with the body, one that she could hide a living being in. She had her own space as well, but it did not allow for living things.

“Maybe we will get lucky if we can enter the sealed space. No matter what, I need to figure out a way to bring Master and you girls with me. Rize is unable to do this. She, too, can only bring herself back and forth between the realms.” Yuki was determined. There was no way of knowing what would happen if she were to ascend before the others. She did not know what would happen if they ascended before her. She was scared that they would be attacked as soon as they ascended. Or if she ascended before them and they were unable to ascend at all. There were too many factors that worried her.

“We can only try. Out of all the places I have used my shadows to check out, this is the most ancient and the only one that is fully sealed. There have also been no mystic realms that have opened either, so this is our best bet.” Delia wished she could be of more help. But there was nothing she could do.

“Then let’s get our things together and make plans to leave in a week’s time. Everyone should finish up any loose ends in case we end up locked in this place for any given amount of time.” Yuki knew that this could be very dangerous, but she still wished to check things out for herself.

“I want to go too…” Chi hugged Yuki’s arm. Her big, round eyes stared pleadingly at her. She did not wish to be left behind. If Yuki did not think they would return then she did not wish to stay alone by herself.

“Bring her with us.” Rize stepped forward. “If something happens, I will tear a hole in space. But I do not know where it will send us. Tearing space is not very easy, and we could end up on some random planet.”
