It had been a month since Rize showed up, and Yuki was currently sitting on a large rock looking down at the girls below still practicing. Nana had finally grasped how to create spells of her own and each one was very unique and filled with power. She now swung around life-sized transparent dragon claws that could cut out part of the mountains like a hot knife through butter. She was already learning how to mix this new ability she created with her sword techniques.

Silvia was using her new abilities to create webbing that exploded on contact or turned things to use. She wanted to use her own race traits as the base for her magi qi. Selene was still working on her version of magi qi. She had been trying to learn how to control darkness. Sadly, no matter how many times she tried so far, she had been failing. Yuki had given her a few ideas but it was still slow progress. Rize was still on step one. She was not making much progress in creating a spell.

“Hmm….” Yuki looked up at the sky as a small white paper crane flew over to her and landed on her shoulder. “Yuki, can you come to the sect with the girls? The Dragon Sect’s sect master has come.”

Yuki stood up and clapped her hands. “Girls, time for a break. We need to go meet with some people.”

Nana was the first to arrive at Yuki’s side. “Who came?”

“The Dragon Sect’s sect master. One of the only dragonkin we know about other than you. Take your time and talk with him as much as you can.” Yuki gently rubbed Nana’s back. “It’s not every day you can meet one of your kin. So try to talk to him a bit.”

“Mmm… I will.” Nana smiled. She was slightly nervous. It had been a long time since she met someone from her own race.

Yuki led the girls back to the sect and landed just outside the new Grandhall. The elders who saw Yuki walk in all bowed their heads towards her. “Prime Elder.”

“You do not need to bow to me. You are all my seniors so please just treat me as a junior.” Yuki really respected these elders who stuck with the sect even during a time of crisis.

“Yuki, you came.” Yuki’s sect master smiled as he continued: “This here is the Dragon Sect’s sect master, Sect Master Tidus.”

“It is a pleasure to meet you.” The man in front of her was huge. He was at least seven feet tall and had black horns on his head. His black hair fell to his waist, and his black scaled tail shimmered in the dim light of the room.

“No, the pleasure is mine. You have allowed the cultivation world to change. You have sent ripples in a once stagnate world.” The Dragon Sect’s sect master replied.

“I am only taking revenge on the people who have harmed my kin. Nothing more, nothing less. They were the cause of the attack on both of my homes, backing people they should not have. It is only right for me to create rivers of blood in my wake.”  Yuki replied while giving a gentle smile. She took her seat just below the sect master, with Nana and the others following suit.

Yuki looked at the man in front of her. He was clean-shaven and did not look much older than his early thirties. He probably had his fair share of women. “I do hope you will speak with my wife Nana. She has few chances to speak with other dragonkins. But just remember, she is MY wife.”

“Haha! You do not need to worry. I wouldn’t dare try to steal the Tailed Asura’s wife. It would be nothing but a death sentence for me. I also wish to sit down and have a chat with her and see how she has been progressing.” The Dragon Sect’s sect master took no offense to Yuki’s declaration of war. He never had plans to make any moves on Nana to begin with, nor would he dare to, even if he wanted to. The tails that swished back and forth behind the Celestial Fox were weapons in their own right.

“We do hope to find more dragonkin within the Celestial Heaven Sect, but I do not know what their next move will be. So I hope you and your own sect members take caution during this time.” Yuki did not want someone who had helped her wife out to die for no reason. Although she did get a bad feeling that something might happen now that she said something. She looked over at  Delia who gave a slight nod. At the same time, no one noticed the shadow that slipped around and dived into the dragon Sect’s sect master’s shadow.

“This I am not sure of either. I have sent some people to try to gather information, but I have yet to acquire anything. They have sealed off everything. I think the threat of the Tailed Asura has scared them into hiding for the time being.” The Dragon Sect’s sect master scratched his head in frustration. “If only I was a bit more powerful, then I could just storm the place myself. It is quite frustrating to know there or mystic races suffering inside that place.”
