When Asia said "I thought this was a kids movie" my immediate statement was "oh hell no it isn't" lol no one warned you you were in for a rough ride with this one? Shoot I told one of my friends when they went to watch this in theaters plan to do something fun and happy afterwards cause this movie will effect you emotionally and is brutal. From what I have heard a lot of this movie isn't cannon, not sure, so there is a good chance in most Batman lore that his dad was an actual good person and that it wasn't a direct result of the Joker that got Bruce's parents killed but again I'm not versed in DC or Marvel lore. I also didn't notice a response when you find out that he actually wasn't dating that lady at all and it is inferred that he killed her too, that was a crazy oh shit moment for me in theaters lol.

Wut? No, it is not inferred at all that he killed his neighbor! In fact quite the opposite is inferred! She wasn’t a terrible person, so he obviously didn’t kill her. Just like he let his little person coworker go. He realized it was all imagined in his head and he had invented those times he spent with her and he rushed out. It was part of his delusion and his realization also kickstarted his final transformation.

Well I looked it up and the director says he didn’t kill her but I think to outright say “It is obvious he didn’t” is perspective based. Being wronged is a perspective, yes technically from our eyes she didn’t wrong him but who’s to say he doesn’t see it like that. I easily could see him realizing that they weren’t actually dating then start to think “well why wasn’t she dating me? Does she think she is better than me like everyone else, she has wronged me” even tho she didn’t do anything wrong he could see it that way. To me if he doesn’t kill her, then that scene makes no sense and is kinda weird/lame. Yeah you have the drop of they aren’t dating but then he pulls the finger gun trigger to his head and she gets scared, I assumed he attacked after that but if she doesn’t die dude literally goes into her place says nothing, makes the gesture then stands up and walks out like “aight peace”, that scene sounds boring and lame af lmao
