Asia you cracked me up when you said Tony needs to go home. Haha. Don’t be too surprised about what Tony did. He almost killed Paulie just a few episodes ago. He’s killed his best friend and his cousin and almost smothered his mother. Christopher just shot that Hollywood guy like nothing. And now AJ is seeing what scum those idiots are he’s been hanging around with. The bottom line is they are ALL serious scumbags. No matter how much the show can humanize them sometimes or make you laugh with their charm or humor… they are lying, cheating, thieving, racist, abusive, manipulating, murderers. As always, love seeing your reactions and thoughts on the episode.

Another time the use of music in this show is beautifully executed. As Tony and Christopher are driving down the road and Tony looks over at his nephew, he realizes something is off about him. Right at that moment, the song Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd, "I turned to look, but it was gone. I cannot put my finger on it now. The child is grown, the dream is gone". The potential Tony saw in Chris from earlier seasons is completely fleeted and he sees no reason to keep him under his wing, only to dispose of him like a dirty rag he had to carry in his back pocket for years. Monstrous.

Anytime someone just calls everything out for what it is, especially using the word Mafia, it’s a showstopper. Tony and Co. obfuscate so much, using words and justifications to avoid being honest with themselves. The therapist Carmela sees asks “The Mafia?” when she tells him Tony’s crimes are “organized in nature” and she breaks down crying. Meadow calls Tony “Mr. Mob Boss” and he becomes very dark and menacing towards her. Ralphie calls out Tony’s hypocrisy over his feelings for Pie-Oh-My when they hurt people for a living, Tony kills him. JT yells at Chris for being in the Mafia (ie an environment that will never allow him to reach any sort of peace) and Chris shoots him.

Only 3 more episodes. Tony had mentioned in a previous episode that there are only 3 outcomes for guys like him, since very few live to enjoy a retirement. You are killed by your associates. You become a rat and go into witness protection. You go to jail for life. Which outcome will be Tony's?

"I GET IT!!!" - Tony ... I've done Psychedelics before, and unless you've done them. It may be hard to understand how he gets it. Me? When Tony said that, I know what he meant LOLOL

Why must you do this? Do me a favor -- don't answer. If you do, you won't be able to help yourself, and then you'll do harm.

You guys gotta do Superbad next!

I think Tony killed Chris because if Chris's daughter was in the car, she would've died. That's why they showed Tony looking at the the tree branch that would've killed the baby in the car seat before he suffocated Chris & after.

Peyote induces a spiritual journey-- Tony has never been in touch with his inner self.
