The Sopranos S6. E13 and E14

Jake Martin

I feel like I say this a LOT, but y'all are always delivering the heat right when I need you most. I was about to listen to some kinda astrophysics podcast. Bump that, it's Soprano's time.

Mikey Sea

Unda da boardwalk 🫣👊🥂🎲

Darth Brooks

Whoo Sopranos! Glad the storms didn't take the power out. Thanks for the upload ✌️❤️ A&B fam!

Julie A

Thanks for the reaction!! I was hoping it would pop up tonight! 1. The scene with Tony and Bobby fighting was choreographed, but James Gandolfini didn’t move when Bobby head-butted him. When they finished filming later James Gandolfini had to go to the hospital to get his nose fixed. It wasn’t broken, but it was messed up. 2. Carmine Jr. is the absolute dumbest character on the show. Every single sentence he utters has a wrong word in it. I think he even said “mutters” in the 2nd episode instead of “utters”. It’s hilarious.

Robert

Yeah, Tony definitely made him do the hit as payback for the "suckerpunch", haha. Because when they were on the boat he asked him if he did a hit before and he said no, and tony said it's a big pain. So even though he had that meeting on the horizon beforehand, he would have brought it up with Bobby on the boat, but it was just a general conversation.

Rio Mendoza

I have to give it to you cause you always write stuff i know i just have the time to write it lol. Plus i know someone is going to do it anyway haha.

Julie A

Lol. I have just always loved the show so much and like to share the trivia I’ve gotten from the Talking Sopranos podcast. Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa were treasure troves of information.

p0sthum4n

how bout dat. how bout dat.

Patrick L

Phil wasn't the one who put the hit on the guy who got shot in front of Silvio at the restaurant it was the heavy set guy "Doc" with the white hair that ordered that hit, he is also next up to be boss.

Robert

Narcos next, all I'm sayin' . And for the future reference anything to screencast netflix you turn off hardware accelerator setting in browsers like edge, chrome, firefox.

Callum Cowan

When it comes to him being the dumbest character on the show, I think this last episode they reacted to disproves that. He's shown to be the only one who has prioritised his life correctly and got out of the life for his family. Whereas the rest of them are deep in it, and even Tony Blundetto who was a genius, in some ways lacked common sense and arguably was dumber in his actions than Carmine jr. While Carmine jr said dumb words, he acted intelligently. Which was the opposite from Tony Blundetto who spoke well and was charming, but sabotaged himself and his life through dumb actions. That's how I see it anyway.

Julie A

I agree with you that he’s the only one who thinks about wanting to live a happy life. I also think he’s at least smart enough to realize he not intelligent enough to run New York. So, I think his lack of intelligence has saved him from a miserable life as a mob boss. "The fundamental question is, will I be as effective as a boss like my dad was? And I will be, even more so? But until I am, it's going to be hard to verify that I think I'll be more effective."- Little Carmine 🤣🤣🤣

JessicaB

You two should do some Doo Wop reactions <3

John Collins

Just want to reiterate how much I’m enjoying this rewatch with y’all and how much I appreciate the pace at which you put out your content, you definitely give your Patrons their moneys worth!

John Collins

Another key difference between Carmine and Tony: apparently Carmine has a wife capable of thoughts like “I don’t want to the wealthiest widow on Long Island.” You think Carmela would ever say that to Tony?

Julie A

John- Nope. Carmela is all about money and “things”.

Andi Szilagyi

I forgot a lot of what happened near the end of the Sopranos series so I'm enjoying refreshing my memory through here.

Rio Mendoza

I use to love when they would fight about the merch having Michaels name first. I dont think they were actually fighting i think it was more banter but they play it so well. Oh and the wingometer or was it wing ometer lol. They had every guest it was pretty awesome.

Julie A

Rio- At first I thought Steve S. was joking, but then I was convinced he was serious. He seems like he has a bad temper. I thought the whole exchange was so bizarre that I watched it more than once. I also loved how he had instructions for Michael to list all of the people who had wronged him if he were to die. And Michael being a Buddhist was not down with that. Lol. Overall, Steve was annoying and Michael was cool, imho.

Rio Mendoza

Oh yeah the Motha#### list right is that what he called it? something like that haha.

Rio Mendoza

Needless to say Steve always had something to cry about. He would always tell stories and look to Michael to verify it and Michael would remember it differently and Steve would get so pissed. Did you happen to catch the time they went on Joe Rogan? That was pretty good.

p0sthum4n

We're in the endgame now.

Asia I need you to do us a favor and in these last episodes please let the theme song play in the beginning lol

Gary Morse

Violent men can be peaceful one minute and kill each other in the next if someone says the wrong thing. When there is a leadership vacuum, like now in New York, a lot of deaths will happen, till they finally realize that while they are killing each other, money is being lost, and the most important thing to the mob is money.

That monopoly game at the lake episode is one of my favs. It never fails, when you mix family, alcohol and board games you are probably going to get a spicy evening. Hahaha

Happy 4 of July weekend.

If you guys ever find the time, This magic moment makes me think u guys need to react to The Sandlot literally the best "it was the summer i would never forget" movie ever i think a lot of others would be stoked to see it.

Cynthia M Farrington

Excellent job reacting to this amazing series. I got really confused towards the end and am enjoying rewatching with you and the family.

Bill Bliss

Asia you gotta listen to “This Magic Moment!” BJ is right it’s a classic. Love you two!

SixEight Guy

I know I'm behind, but Y'all are confused and have it all wrong. Phil had nothing to do with Gerry getting killed. It was Doc Santoro. Because Doc wants to be in charge. Phil is NOT inline to be in charge. He doesn't want to be. There was a whole scene about it where he was talking about it being a young man's game. Phil is now pissed because his brother got killed. And now Gerry got killed (even though he knows it was Doc). He feels and looks weak.
