Jonny Kerr (JK)

Only show that gets better every season. Season 6 is sooooo amazing. Can’t wait for The Wire someday too!

Mikey Sea

The Soprano's for sure...but I'd definitely add Breaking Bad, and Better Call Saul too.

Re : James Gandolfini- I think it was the creator of The Sopranos who said that the parts of Tony Soprano that you hate are “Tony Soprano”, and the parts of Tony that you love are James Gandolfini. Everyone he worked with loved him, and they all have great personal stories about his big heart. 🩷

What kind of delivery man leaves a package in the driveway?? Unfortunately a typical delivery man. I don't even get mail sent to the house anymore 😕

Mikey Sea

Thank you Asia and BJ, you guys are great. 👍

The Wire, yes!!!!! One of the best series of television I’ve ever watched!

I know how you feel with packages, I ordered an expensive Christmas present and it didn’t turn up so I contacted the seller and they sent me a picture of it delivered outside someone else’s house, luckily they were honest and gave it to me. Love your content ❤️

Robert

The tv show junior thought he saw himself and bobby in was Curb Your Enthusiasm (Another HBO comedy classic).

Robert

Carmines death is interesting because he was the head of all the families, and little Carmine his son is assumed to take the reigns because he's the son, however there is a power struggle because Johnny in NYC was thought of as "a son" by Carmine, and apparently there is not a "legal succession" in that game of who inherits the position of big boss. It's more fluid and has potential to turn violent or into an all out war. The factors are based upon respect amongst the various crews, who's smart and a money maker and a leader, and who ultimately has the most power. You'll hear often through the series of how stupid Little Carmine is and how people don't take him too serious. As well he's in Miami which seems quite far for these guys in the north east.

It was an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm (another HBO show) on Junior's TV. Junior thought Larry David was him.

From what I know, yeah people do know. They might not know all the time, and they might be really fuzzy, but there are moments of clarity. That's why anger is common -- you can't control your emotions very well, but when you can you're so embarassed, anxious and depressed you're on edge and scared :(

Y’all are so cute! I loved the way BJ jumped into his seat!

Boardwalk Empire is a great series about organized crime and stars Steve Buscemi (Tony.)

Dan Sopranos

Yeah BJ you're right ... that's Frank from Scarface On another issues ... you guys need a better Intro.Outro music Youz 2 are 2 nice family people ... the intro music to your reaction scares the shit out of me ... loud & menacing feels like Armageddon is coming 🤣 🤣 🤣 You guys need something nicer ... just a suggestion 🙂

Isn’t that Frankie Valli playing Rusty? I looked it up and it is. Rusty Millio Friend of a friend, not a friend of ours. ― Rusty in regards to Joey Peeps[src] Rusty Millio is a recurring character on The Sopranos. He is a high-ranking captain in the Lupertazzi crime family and a cunning and ambitious mobster. He is portrayed in a guest role by singer and actor Frankie Valli.

If you’re interested in an interview with him from the Talking Sopranos podcast: https://youtu.be/UTNY-WuWv80 The format is that they interview the guest for about an hour, and then talk about the episode after that.

I think AJ thought he was going to have it easier with his dad, because his mom was always the disciplinarian and his dad tended to spoil him and make Carmella be the “bad guy.” I think that look was shock and disappointment when Tony told him to do his homework “now.”

Potato Jones

I'm sorry for your losses. My mom works in an assisted living facility and it's still hard on her after 30 years, and she's just medical help. I can't imagine for the family

The first episode reminded me, you guys should definitely do Curb Your Enthusiasm. Eastbound & Down and Curb Your Enthusiasm should be your next two series. You won't be disappointed!

So you probably didn't notice it but in the episode 4 the second card game the player with the crazy blonde long hair is David Lee Roth who was the original lead singer for Van Halen. Also James gandolfini was amazing one of my good friends and her husband our godparents to his son. They were very close.

Michelle C

Also it's probably been mentioned in comments somewhere going through five seasons but the actor that is playing Sil is actually Bruce Springsteen's guitar player. So if you watch any Bruce Springsteen videos you'll see him he's got the scarf wrapped around his head.

Feech LaManna was played by Robert Loggia. A friend of mine was an extra on a movie he starred in, playing the same sort of tough guy role. On the first day of filming, Loggia ripped into the director (young guy) complaining about his trailer and the whole setup. Like he was seeing red. The director started to apologize and Loggia busted out laughing and said, “I’m just gettin into character!” I think Robert Loggia has passed but like BJ brought up he has been in many films and had a great acting career.
