Sorry to comment twice, y'all, but I've always loved the fight between Brienne and The Hound. It's not some phoney "slay queen, slay" girl-boss moment like we see play out in so many poorly written shows. Brianne earns every second of her victory. She doesn't simply best The Hound with ease and get hardly a scratch to show for it. The Hound is a seriously skilled warrior, perhaps better than Brienne and almost certainly stronger, but she manages to beat him anyway because she has the sheer grit and will to win. She takes an absolutely vicious beating and deals it all right back to him. When she sent Clegane over the cliff, that's when she became my favorite character. She's all heart, and I love her for it.

Both Clegane brothers dying or on the brink of death in this episode. The Mountain in the laboratory and the Hound on the hillside.

Up until this episode I still didn't hate Shay. I felt she was hurt and was just lashing out like alot of us might do when she got on the stand. But when I saw she had been knockin' boots with Tyrion's dad.....I was done with her. Also, just to clarify, (and I may be wrong on this but kinda how I always saw it) the White Walkers are the blue ones with the glowing blue eyes and are the ones in command of the undead (like that sprang up out of the ground in this one). Again, I might be wrong on that, but I always considered them two different levels of things.

Vayrys wasn’t the one to watch Shae get on the boat. It was Bronn. Varys tried to get her to leave long before the purple wedding. Gave her all the jewels. And Shae took that as Tyron asking Varys to do that, even though Tyrion didn’t know nutt’n about that. And you remember she confronted him that and Tyrion didn’t know anything about it, said “what are you talking about?” So she took that as more dishonesty. Then not long after Tyrion was harsh to break her heart to save her life. Safe to say that devastated her, and after Cersei and Tywin intercepted her, then she decided to hurt Tyrion. It always vexed me that she turned out SO STUPID, after she was proven to be so smart all along. If you really analyze it, it was Varys’ fault that things went so bad for Tyrion. Because he tried to buy off Shae without telling Tyrion, that when she became suspicious and jealous. Oof, it’s ALWAYS the eunuchs!

..I still can't believe what happend with the whole Shea situation..but was so glad seeing Tywin get what he deserved by Tyrion. Love it when a character who's horrible gets what they deserve.

Asia is correct. Varys helped a man escape that was convicted of killing the king. When he heard those bells he knew it was time to escape too

Bj is right Tywin treated Tyrion like shit his whole life!!!! So how fitting for Tyrion to take Tywins life on the shitter??!!! I thought it was a perfect very fitting ending between those two characters!!! Tyrion is freeeeeee!!!!

As much of a bastard Tywin Lannister was he held the realm together. Now that he's dead... Well you'll see. You just watched 4 of greatest seasons of television. Hate to be a Debbie Downer but the next 4 seasons not so much. In terms of quality, Season 1-4 and Season 5 - 8 feel like two completely different shows.

In context, I love the song of ice and fire books. Seasons 1 - 4 were faithfully adapted. The things they deviated and left out of the show in Season 5 and 6 is my problem (Lady Stoneheart for example) I get its two different mediums. IMO the show didn't do anything better what was already in the books.

Dany executing the young man made me feel a certain way to. He was just helping her, yes she has to uphold her law , but you gotta keep the support of the ppl. What she did looked to them like, she's no better than the Masters before. It's good to uphold law but part of being a good ruler is showing mercy. Like Tywin said, "A King knows what he does and what he doesn't ". You must heed the word of your advisors. I love watching you guys experience this show 👍🏽👏🏾
