He’s a fake psychic detective who has eidetic memory or photographic memory. And a lot of BS lol. He calls his detective agency psych. When people use to tell you a lie then say psych. He’s lying Gus knows and his dad knows he ain’t psychic his dad has trained his abilities.

I love this show! HE IS NOT PSYCHIC BJ!!! :} His dad trained him to be very observant of his environment, remember his dad testing him with the hats. Listen to the theme music. He just has a keen awareness of the environment he is in. Finally you are watching a show I like. I haven't really watched you guys in a month cuz i'm not really interested in The Sporanos, GOT, or Band of Brothers, Maybe later on. I think one show at a time is better with movies in between, just my opinion. You guys are great.

The mentalist TV show is another prime example (aside from this genius/gem of a show) of being extra observant. I love shows that show how the human mind can work, its fascinating! Hence I love the Big bang theory too lol (Sheldon wise) Great reaction as always.

I tried to watch a couple of these episodes on my own because the comments seem to be gloating with how “funny and amazing” this series is lol But ehhh maybe it’s just me. The show seems very 2000’s cheesy. Not trying to rain on anyone’s parade if they enjoy this style of comedy lol I just expected the show to be a lot funnier based on the comments.

BJ and Asia it's right in the opening song that he's BSing, but you skip through it, let it play and listen. Also, the beginning scenes when Shaun was a boy, his dad is basically grooming him to become the master "psych" .

Yeah, it wasn't good enough when it was released to really grab anyone's attention. Just my opinion. I think it probably had its niche.
