Lol - these shows are all so intense...😯😂

Two more to go, and it will be quite a ride to the end of season 1. Now we just have to wait another year or two for the next season.

Jessi

Yesssss!

No spoilers, but I will say this, You guys are going to be blown away by the last two episodes of this series. The first 7 episode were some good stuff, no doubt, but the last two... Oh boy, gonna be lit!!! (Yep, it is a sad feeling realizing that I am too old for saying that kind of stuff) HAHAHAHA

bbbfst

Great reaction. Now I'm impatient for the final two episodes. (No pressure. heh)

Justtired

The movie they are watching in Jackson is Neil Simon’s The Goodbye Girl with Richard Dreyfus (Jaws) and Marsha Mason from 1977

Mindbomb

BJs reaction to mortal kombat II was priceless ...and the arcade in general.

Every time I see Tommy I can't help but see when he played the Rev-9 Terminator in "Terminator Dark Fate"

Josh

Crazy I rewatched episode 1, and when u know it's confirmed it was spread through flour, u see how many times Joel & Sarah got lucky they didn't get infected. Joel forgot to buy pancake mix & a birthday cake . Then Joel & Sarah didn't try the neighbors' biscuits, and then later that day, Sarah didn't have the neighbors cookies becuz she didn't like raisin oatmeal

to answer your questions at the end, with no spoilers: On the locations: They get to Wyoming in episode 6 (where they thought Tommy should be), and Tommy tells them that the Firefly base is in Colorado (where Joel ends up getting stabbed). But when they are there they discover that the Fireflies have relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah, from the map they find. So yeah, in episode 7 they are somewhere in the vicinity of the college in Colorado where he got stabbed. On why Tommy and Joel didn't take Ellie together: Tommy initially refuses to go with Joel to Colorado because he has his own life in Wyoming and has a child on the way. Even though it's not the most perilous trip to Colorado, it is still a risk for him. But when Joel tells him the whole story, he agrees to do it: both because he feels responsible for getting Ellie where she needs to be, and because he sees how mentally fragile his brother has become. Joel of course could have just gone with them both, yes. His reason that she 'would be better off with Tommy' seems more like an excuse than a real reason, which Ellie seems to know in their conversation in her bedroom. The real reason seems to be that he is too afraid to remain close to her, or to continue to become closer to her, and/or to even be around her if she were to get hurt / die. Before he resolves himself to stick with her, he really just wants to be as far away from her as possible so he doesn't suffer another loss like Sarah. So once Joel decides to stick with her, Tommy just stays home as he originally planned--because, as he said before, the trip shouldn't really be that dangerous (as he said, they've sent several groups there and back without ever running into any issues, and it's only a 6 day ride, if I recall correctly). Of course, they end up being wrong about that.

I just finished this series last week but it’s so good I’ll rewatch these episodes again. If Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey aren’t nominated for something, I don’t know what. They are both just so dang good in this show. I just realized Ellie is the same age now as Sarah was when she died 😭😭😭 Definitely explains Joel. Also, interesting fact, Pedro improvised the line about dreams: “I just know when I wake up, I’ve lost something. I’m failing in my sleep.” Best line, imo.

I really enjoyed episode 6! Kin is an episode many might not enjoy. I wish you guys could play the game for us but I can understand if it’s not an option. It’s hard to navigate for people who don’t game, even the ones who do play games a lot. But anyways, I love episode 6 because it showed us another side of Joel that we don’t get in the games. I probably cried the most in this one lol! Such great acting, settings, and character development! Excited for you guys to finish it up! (:

It's stupid to set expectations like this. I don't know why people do this.

Julien

You're old enough then to know that setting expectations like these is the best way to make sure people end up disappointed. Why do this. 🤦‍♂️

Oh chill'ax. I didn't spoil a single thing and I did nothing more than relay an opinion. I think they can distinguish and separate MY feelings from their own when they get there. Should other people have not told them that the series was amazing? Did they set expectations as well? You brought more attention to my post than what would have been in the first place. Why do THAT? That said, I wish you well

These episodes were fire. This explains a lot when Joel told Ellie that she has no idea was loss is. She knows about loss by losing Riley. The episode shows a lot about Ellie. The captain told her that he saw a leader in here and that one day it's going to show. Her not giving up to save Joel shows that leadership. It's great back story for Ellie. I can't wait for you to continue the episodes. Great reactions!

Also Joel is suffering from heart trouble and I think he’s worried about Ellie being left on her own.

Mileena's fatality on mkII was among the easiest to do (hold low kick for 20 seconds during the match) Shang tsungs was the same. Also that was the most frustrating game on Sega genesis (with the overrided uppercuts) many A controller was thrown into the console or TV screen behind that game at home, however at the arcade xmen vs Street fighter had the most actual fights break out in the 90's

I'm a huge fan of the Last of Us games, and I thought they did such a great job with the show. Also seeing the actors here making the characters their own. The way Gabriel Luna(Tommy) looked down at Joel's watch when he said "just because life stopped for you" was just so good. Great acting there.

As far asEllie’s immunity is concerned, some people are just immune. Whatever disease or virus or whatever sweeps the globe, or as a localized epidemic, there’s always those few who are immune for whatever reason. No one knows why. I think that’s what this is here.
