Adding onto my post in the last episode about Walt withholding the cancer news from Skylar... He has also not told his own son. Only when Junior is about to leave for Hank and Marie's and Walt needs some reason to keep Junior there, does Walt finally decide to tell Junior about his cancer being back. Again, Walt only disclosing important info when it suits his interests.

Going back to the ricin cigarette in season 4.... The problem at that time, was Walt was trying to kill Gus, but he couldn't get close to him. Walt then tried to get Jesse to kill Gus with the ricin cigarette, but Jesse was becoming more loyal to Gus and wouldn't kill him. So, Walt wanted to devise a way to turn Jesse against Gus. The way he did it was to poison Brock and then convince Jesse that Gus was behind it. (Walt said, "It wouldn't be the first time he has hurt kids", in reference to Tomás getting murdered). In reality, Saul was helping Walt, so they had Huell steal the cigarette from Jesse. When Brock went to the hospital, Jesse looked in his cigarettes and saw the ricin one was missing. Jesse at first thought it was his fault, but later Walt convinced Jesse that Gus must have been the one to steal it. It was a weird plan with no real motive for Gus to do this (Jesse was on Gus' good side at the time), but none the less it led to Jesse turning against Gus and giving Walt the information he needed to kill Gus via Hector. Then fast forward to this episode, when Jesse realized his weed was missing while waiting for the disappearing guy, he realized Huell had lifted it from him while in Saul's office. Suddenly it clicked that Huell had also done the same thing shortly before his cigarette went missing, and it clicked that Walt must have been behind that whole scenario. Because like someone else said, in Season 4 when that all the went down, Jesse's first reaction was to think that Walt had poisoned Brock, because Walt was the only other person who knew about the ricin cigarette. Jesse had a gun to Walt's head, but then Walt talked Jesse out of it and convinced him that Gus had done it (Because Gus has cameras everywhere, so he could have known about the ricin too). So given this information, it wouldn't have taken a lot for Jesse to go back to his original conclusion of realizing Walt was behind everything.

I'm assuming Hank was able to find Jesse because he had those two guys of Gomez surveilling Saul's office. Maybe they were still there when Jesse shows up and then beat up Saul. It's a high probability then he went straight to the gas station and then to Walt's house.

You guys are slow sometimes. Jesse said how he knew in Sauls office. I enjoy you guys please pay better attention you’ve done same thing on other stuff you’ve watched.

Anonymous

That's the thing about watching for the first time. Sometimes it slips right past you and you don't realize. Take it easy and enjoy.

You take it easy as well. I stayed the obvious. I enjoy watching them obviously I pay to watch them. Stating the obvious. A lot slips by them tho. On so many shows. So you chill out

Who says that though, Like an internet karen lol

When you’re intrigued into a show especially with some else and watching for the first time, you don’t catch everything cause you’re just reacting to what you’re seeing. I know damn well I didn’t catch most of this until a rewatch or just discussing it with other fans. No need to call them slow or be aggressive in your comment to them. So Jesco, you chill out lol.

Ppl need to chill, it's quite common for most people watching the first time to forget a few things, I'm honestly watching them react to it and enjoying it again.. I watched this years back when they were live episodes, now I'm seeing clarity to the entire story. Asia and BJ don't worry about these silly ass comments

Jesse

Asia, you nailed it by saying “Walt is a master manipulator.” And Bryan Cranston does a great job in episode 11 playing that role. He manipulated Walt Jr. into not going to Hank and Marie’s house. He manipulated (delayed) the “getting arrested situation” by giving Hank and Marie the confession DVD. He tries to manipulate Jesse in the desert scene. And mostly he manipulates the audience into believing he’s acting on good intentions which cloaks his underlying manipulative motives. Brilliant.

Seriously... While watching Breaking Bad for the 3rd time, I still saw new things. Those comments are horrible.

i knoq yall are done with the show and its probably annoying getting spammed with facts but i love yalls reactions even if you miss things (that i didnt even get right on my first watch) but Walt poisoning brock was all done and planned off screen and the reason Jesse figured it out is because Huell took his Doobie that he was looking for then it made it click that Huell did it before, only saying because Huell comes back in Better call Saul, which you guys would LOVE, Cheers!
