Great reaction video! I haven't watched it in a while but the reveal that the Pikey's had played them all in the end is fantastic. You should still watch "the usual suspects". Another great movie with Benicia Del Toro!

Ok my friends, (In my best Turkish voice) you have stumbled onto one of my favorite movies (Actually it's a trilogy). Lemme sum up as best as I can for Asia because Guy Ritchie tries his best to make a hilariously confusing movie. Boris, (the Russian) was sent after the diamond first by his cousin, who helped Franky Four Fingers steal it in the first place. He wasn't supposed to steal it from Franky himself because his cousin was still in Business with the Americans (Avi). So, Boris hired Sol and Vinnie (and Tyrone) to rob the bookie as a smoke screen for stealing the Diamond from Franky. Once they got the diamond, Boris came to pick it up, but Sol and Vinnie were so pissed because they didn't get any money from the bookie, they said Boris's name out loud in front of Franky. Which is why Boris shot Franky in the head and set all the series of unfortunate events into motion. I love all the Guy Ritchie movies and I think you will too. The other movies are Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Rock n Rolla. you should watch them!

This was another movie I always liked that kind of flew under the radar, for some reason not that many people heard of this movie but it's a good dark comedy/ gangster flick. I wanted to answer the question or explain things so as to catch you up. but it's not completely clear what you were confused about so I was going to try to go over the plot, but as I was typing it started to feel like I was typing a book, So instead, maybe if you knew what you were confused about, I could try to clear it up for you. By the way the term "Pikey" was referring to the gypsies (Brad Pitt and his camp), and the reason Mickey (Brad Pitt) would never go down to lose in the round he was supposed to is because him and his people would always bet on him winning to make "bank". Also, in the last fight The Pikeys (gypsies camp) knew that if Mickey (Bradd Pitt) didn't go down in the last Fight. "Brick Top" (the Boss Gangster who feeds people to pigs) would have his gang waiting at the Pikey campsite to kill the whole Pikey family campsite. So, they (the Pikey's) had planned to wait in the bushes until Brick Tops Gang was sitting in the car outside the Pikey campsite waiting for the outcome of the fight. where the Pikey's then Shot and killed all of Brick Tops gang. Meanwhile other members of the Pikey/ Gypsy family went to kill Brick Tops Personal Drivers who were waiting in the car outside in the parking lot of the fight. After they killed his drivers, the Pikeys then got into Brick Tops car with the tinted windows rolled up. and shotguns in hand. and waited for Brick Top to come out of the fight so they could kill him to. So, the Pikey's/Gypsies got revenge on the entire Brick Top Gang for killing Mickey's Mom and They made a bunch of money by betting that Mickey would win the fight. Guys done some great films. As others have said, Lock stock and I love Sherlock Holmes. Lock stock? I'd recommend learning English slang with Jason Statham (who's in the movie) first lol so you get all of the dry quips in the movie lol - I may be in a minority but I LOVE too The man from U.N.C.L.E with Henry Cavil too. And the gentleman.

Ohh!! Thank you Tyrie! That cleared up a lot!! I was confused as to how or why the Pikeys were already outside and how they knew that the gang would be outside? Did they ever show a plot as to how they were going to get their revenge for killing Mickeys mom? And also, did the whole thing with the diamond have anything at all to do with the situation with Mickey or was that just a separate piece of the movie itself?

Of course, this movie had a lot of simultaneously moving parts, so, it is the kind of movie that needs a few watches! They never showed the planning for the revenge the Pickeys were planning, but it was implied, in the very last fight, Mickey is at the fight, sitting on the couch right before the fight drunk, making jokes, right then "Brick Top" (the Gangster Boss) says to Mickey "There is a whole campsite full your Pikey Family who won't think it's so FU**ING funny! Not when they are all putting out all the fires on their backs! (Which is him pretty much saying we're waiting for you to mess up this time so we can kill all your Pikey family!) as you know "Turkish"/Jason Statham was narrating the whole film, and at one point he talks about "Pikey Revenge" in the narration he was doing. He said with regards to Revenge " For every action there will always be a reaction, AND A PIKEY REACTION is QUITE a FU**ING THING! In that part of the narration, he was pretty much saying you can always expect a Pikeys reaction. to be on another level! and this is one place where the subtle implication is made. and also, he tells you that all along the Pickeys have secretly been making their own plans and have been betting on Mickey to win every fight all along, and that's why Mickey intentionally never goes down when he's supposed to, because he and his Pikey family have placed their bets on the fight to make all the money! So, it's clear they have been plotting and planning amongst themselves from the very beginning, and after Mickey's Mom's murder by Brick Top you can bet, they had their revenge all thought out because they are not going to make plans to bet on the fight, but forget about Mickey's mom being killed by Brick Top, and they understand how a Gangster Like Brick Top works, so they understand what to expect from someone like him, and how to plan their Revenge on him. If you understand how a Murdering Gang Boss like Brick Top operates you should understand that after Mickey Messing up the first time losing Brick Top so much money by not going down in the 4th, and then Mickey not wanting to do the second fight, Brick Top is going to put something in place to make sure Mickey doesn't mess up again because there is too much money to be lost if Brick Top just puts his trust in Mickey even after he already messed up he could lose a whole lot for the second time. No Brick Top is not the kind of guy who would take another chance on losing that much money again, and since he was the one who burned Mickey's Mom's caravan down in the first place, then that means Brick Top knows where the Pickeys campsite is, so it sands to reason that he would most likely be planning to send his Men to ambush the Pickeys if Mickey failed to go down like he did the first time so the Pickeys surely talked about it at some point and they rightly expected Brick Tops men to be waiting to ambush them so they ambushed His men instead! Also, as far as the plot about the diamond no, The plot about the diamond wasn't connected to the plot of Mickey it was just the situation happening at the same time as the plot with Mickey was happening. The only connection was that Frankie 4 fingers was at the "Bookies" betting office, because Boris had sent him there to set him up, to rob the diamond from him which was Brick Tops fight, that Turkish was being a promoter for this fight, and it was Mickey's first fight for Brick Top. and the robbery Sol and Vinny were pulling was to get that diamond from Frankie 4 fingers for Boris the Bullet Dodger, but the plot wasn't connected to Mickey and it also wasn't directly connected to Turkish until the end when they found the Diamond in the dog's stomach after which Turkish unknowingly took the Diamond back to "Doug the Head" the Jewelry guy which, of course, was an ironic mistake to make in THE END. Honestly, it does make it a bit easier to follow movie plots when you know the key characters names, but this movie did have a lot of different characters, and a lot was going on. with 2 different parts of the plot to follow, both happening at the same time. I'm sure the next time you watch it will be clearer, other than some of the characters crazy thick accents. Anyway, I enjoy you guys' reactions. I'm glad you're also enjoying the show "Breaking Bad." I am to, enjoying it with you guys. watching this amazing tv show probably for the 5th time. I just haven't seen any tv series as well written as this one. and every time I introduce a friend to it, I end up watching it again with them. so, I'm glad to have experienced it with you guys! Last thing! I know you guys get a lot of movie request. but.... if at some point you guys can check out the movie "The Devil's Advocate" it is a Great Supernatural Thriller Suspense movie! with Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, and Charlize Theron.
