I love that Celine Dion (a Canadian like Ryan Reynolds) agreed to do the sad Deadpool 2 song ("Ashes" in the opening credits)! It was also kind of her comeback song after her husband passed away, so she was the perfect singer for the song. The music video with Deadpool is amazing. It was a crime that it wasn't nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Was this movie edited..the last interview..he was supposed to say he has diabetes one and 2..then get hired. Maybe theatrical version 🤔.

I never noticed that the intro was a play on the James Bond intros. Brilliant and hilarious!

This one is loaded with references to movies and music. Some that haven't been mentioned yet... the reference to Eleven from Stranger Things at the end when they're trying to fix Cable's time machine thingy.. The baby legs crossing back and forth was like the sexy scene from Sharon Stone from Basic Instinct, and then there's a comment about 'he can't help it, it's basic instinct.' The guy Deadpool shots at the end is the character Ryan Reynolds plays in XMen Origins: Wolverine. Then he shoots Ryan Reynolds signing something for The Green Lantern character that he also played (there was a bunch of rumors the Reynolds didn't like the character and refuses to reprise the role). Deadpool tells Cable, "Gimme your best shot, One-Eyed Willie" ... the guy who plays Cable, Josh Brolin, also played the big brother in The Goonies. During the leg crossing scene I mentioned earlier, Wade (Deadpool) is wearing the same Hawaiian shirt as Chunk from The Goodies. Sooo many easter eggs... 🤣
