Hey your speculation and wanting of spin-off...me too. This was so much fun watching all over again with you. There are plans by Showtime to do a spinoff with the Harrison character but in the distant future. I did read that Showtime in the next year or two, plans to do a Dexter prequel called "Dexter: Origins" although Michael will not be playing his younger self, but Michael may appear where the younger character is looking into the future as himself. The limited series will focus on his early days with the Miami Metro Police Department and his transformation into the serial killer he became by the time of the events of the original Dexter first aired. The new show will begin as Dexter graduates college and first joins the police force. The show also plans to incorporate “stories of real-life serial killers of the time period back in the 1980s. Michael in an interview said the ship as sailed to play his younger college age Dexter, but that he would be open to do flash foward scenes. I'm so eager to see the prequel.

Little late so hope you see this. Yeah definitely not the ending anybody was expecting or wanted. made me appreciate the original ending so much more. I liked the entire season up until the last 20 mins of the final episode. The majority of people including myself were pretty pissed, how could they screw it up 2 times lol One thing I did love was Kurt. He is in my top 5 dexter villains. To me it was just very rushed, it had the potential to run at least one more season with him on the run AND the fact that there was never a face to face with Batista was ridiculous. a total waste. R.I.P. Dexter. and Hell no I aint watching no Harrison spinoff if they ever make one, I hate him lol

BJ, that rifle can't be bigger than a 22, no more kick than a pellet gun. 😁 Edit: after some research, that could be a Remington 873 which does not come in 22 long rifle, but based on the size of the magazine, it cannot be a very large caliber.
