I've been working on this garden for some time now on my own expense. Figured it would be pretty cool to show you how its progressed since I started this small project in my free time. It should be noted that this area was arid an barren without any sign of life in the soil, so I tilled it, carried a ton of wood chippings to the area, collect old logs, bricks from the nearby residential construction site, untreated wood shavings, chicken manure, tons of commercial compost, organic potting soil, worm castings, aged tiles, and miscellaneous objects I could use in the garden before the seeds were deposited.

Instead of breaking down the surrounding elements, I grafted the garden into its environment while leaving some walking space for the denizens who frequents the middle section of this area. I also left some spaces open for new crops, but the microorganism still have to break down the NPK in the soil after a couple of watering sessions. I don't want the plant to suffer from nutrient burn, so I'll have to be patience before filling the last strip haha.

You guys probably think I'm nut for randomly creating a community garden in an area which is not my own. But honestly, just working with nature produces a level of satisfaction that I simply can't explain. Aside from it, I just want to make a difference for others instead of focusing on my own needs. It's truly a beautiful experience to just make a change to our surroundings that benefits others as well. Bringing this area back to life too forever, so I hope you like the growth progress so far!
