Genesis Update Preview - Straight Content Inbound! (Patreon)

Greetings fellow Bare Backers! Jasonafex here to give you a heads up on a content updated expected to be ready to ship in two weeks. We wanted to come back from our Wedding with a bang, bringing you a variety of new content!

Meet Genesis the Raptor!

Serving as the female counterpart to our starting character Vergence, Gen brings a whole new experience to the mix, introducing straight content into the game. Similar to many standard sex-'em-ups, you can now play as a feisty female while brawling the various vulgar monsters BBS has to offer. It was important to us to develop a second playable character early on, so that we can design our male and female interactions with enemies at the same time. Expect some unique interactions with certain enemies going forward!

New Autumn Level!

A second variation to our starting Jungle stage with an Autumn pallet has been added to our stage rotation. The stage you start on will now been randomized between the traditional green stage from the previous build, and the new autumn layout.

Each of our stages going forward will receive a second version for variety.

Spooky Vergence Skin!

Pallet swaps are now supported by our latest build. To celebrate, players will now be able to select a ghoulish pale Vergence with dark, soulless eyes to terrify the pants right off your body!

Character Select Added!

To accommodate our new features, you will now be taken to the character select screen when hitting play on our main menu. Here, you will be able to cycle between playable characters, see their attributes, pick your starting stage, skin and difficulty.

Can you handle Bareback Mode?

A future feature we plan to add to the game once our clothing systems are implemented, is to pick how many clothes you are willing to start with. HARD mode will put your playable character in nothing but gloves, boots and their preferred jockstrap or panties. If your feeling brave, play the game in BAREBACK difficulty, which starts the game wearing nothing at all! This essentially places your character in a one-hit stun range all the time, leading to plenty of sex scenes, or a grueling challenge!

These clothing changes also impact the Pinup art on the Character Select. If your feeling a little curious, play with the difficulty levels!

Outfit Designs Finalized!

While removable clothing won't ship in this upcoming update, we have decided on how we would like to see Vergence/Genesis to appear when at full health. As you take damage, various layers will be stripped from your characters body. Once you have become bare, you become vulnerable to sexual assaults!

Delay Transparency!

As the Director BBS, I would like to apologize for our build taking longer to bug fix and polish than anticipated. Roy, our teams programmer had limited availability leading into October, which he would like to be transparent about below:

' I would like to speak to everyone about BBS and my progress on it. In the past month and two, I made a decision to overhaul the game’s engine. This decision was not properly communicated to Jason or Kabier. The result was a large number of issues with little success in improving things. This has caused a great delay for the next update. With the sudden start of a training program I must participate in as well, I will be unable to meet the estimate I had provided everyone. I am very sorry for my actions, not just to all you reading this, but to Jason and Kabier. I hope I can earn back your trust. I’ll be returning to work full time on BBS once training ends next Tuesday. '

More Updates Coming!

The Genesis update is projected to release around Mid November, with a smaller update coming at the end of the month, featuring the brand new enemy that one last months sex scene vote!
