Hi!
I am very bussy working on Harem,
i wished to have the next update done by this weekend but yea... its always something isn't it.
But let me bring you up to date what i had done, its quite alot!
First thing, look at the video above,
i did not planned to have a Inverse Kinematic system for the Feet and Spine in 0.9, but this annoyed me so much while working on the animations that i had to implement it.
Its not perfect yet, but its good enough that i wont waste anymore time on it, i want you to finally play the new version!
You maybe know that Frost and Harem are both my main Projects and they are big!
They are not simply minigames they are complete games with little storys and many characters to meet.
Yes Harem is currently 20 gb.... no really Twenty Gigabyte O_o its not comparable with 0.8 its a whole new game, most of it are Animations and Textures.
Btw Frost is the same, but there are some old files in there so the final size will be hopefully a bit smaller.

I also added ALL of the characters for Harem into One 3d studio max file, this took me almost a full day, because 3ds max is *crashy* when adding complex character rigs, but now its all fine and everything is finally in one scene.
Do not look at the Right side of the image if you hate spoilers :P
btw look at the bottom left: 2777 Objects.....(most are bones tough) i was shocked when i have seen how much everything combined is :O
The file alone is nearly 800mb... at least the newest update (2022) is much faster with this but still its the biggest filesize i had with only models ^^
Inside Unreal i had to change the Level loading type,
Now i am using Level Streaming for everything, it was way to big to have everything in one level.
This was a bit tricky but i had a trick for it, i copied the whole World and then deleted everything i did not wanted inside the streaming level :D
But this sadly means i had to redo the Terrain, so the placement of your House will change a bit Sorry :/
The nice thing is, i finally found a excuse to use the same terrain system i had used in Frost ^_^
Its Voxel based and supports overhangs and caves (there are no caves though but who knows what will come after 1.0)
I also had a dream a few days ago, and i added a new private area to your Palace, its still in blockout, but you see that the entrance to it is this stair and its right before the Throne room.
If you go upstair to your private area, you will have a big room i will make it nice and cozy for you up there! :3
There is also the interior of the Pyramid finally ingame,
I love mirages throne in the series, and i made it a few months ago, its a 1/1 replica :3

I also made a ton of Animations, but i had a Problem with the Skeletons and Animation Blueprints inside Unreal, i found out that you can't use a different animation blueprint for a skeleton even when the Bones have the same name -_-

But no worry i just need to reimport all animations into one combined skeleton, already did this but i need to make new animation blueprints and copy the code from the old one into the new one.
And something else, I like to thank YOU♥ for helping me making my dream come true, i have something very special planned for You, you will have a awesome adventure with Mirage and help her corruptiong the whole Toon world, its going to be FUN, and something you have never seen before!
