Aggressive censoring edition included. Sooo I got a piece of art deleted from deviantart despite being censored. I'm pretty well read on their criteria for uploads, and I've on a handful of times before uploaded censored pieces without issues. I was really shocked by the deletion and it kinda ruined my day when I found out. I have a few options. 1.) Aggressive censoring where you can't even tell what's being censored at all. 2.) Refraining from posting anything that would require censoring on certain websites. 3.) Limiting certain subject matters either by avoiding altogether or keeping locked to secondary pay options. 

For option 3, deviantart has come forward saying that items otherwise up for deletion when posted publicly CAN be posted behind a paywall or hidden in a download for pay pieces. 

All of this gives me a migraine trying to figure things out. Grr.
