Hey dear patrons!

While working on the another map - this time it will be the cave under the hill from last released map - I observed my pinterest and noticed something nice. Being honest, I'm not Pinterest beast, I completely do not care about it's algorithms and frankly speaking I don't post there as much as on reddit or FB.

One of my first map - Frontier's Rest Inn is getting hit so I'm gonna give you some highlights about it. The map is also one of the first on Patreon so it can be somehow forgotten lying under tones of fancy animated Wildshape, Unity i collage maps.

  • The map is made in Dungeondraft which is hell of a tool. I just decided to ditch form it as you can find such map everywhere, on almost every patreon, reddit, insta, fridge and under your bed. I don't undermine other creators' effort, the maps made in Dugeondraft are wholesome great.
  • That was also the first map which I decided to share to the public and it wasn't related to any of my campaign I was playing.
  • I had a hard time lasting for couple of days while making all the variations of night and day, on each floor (the inn have 2 levels + the outdoor) - and I remember saying to myself - "F*ck, nevermore such redundancy" :D
  • It was story driven process of creation: However odd that sounds, first I started to making a story in my head about the last intelligent races' outpost in the north. And somehow I decided it to be an inn where daredevils can stay for a while before venturing to the wild north.

Well that was a short story about the map. I attach the mid resolution files to the post, but rest you can find here. Frontier's Rest Inn

There is no animated nor Wildshape version yet, but it circles around me and maybe I can make a reproduction, what do you think?

Cheers!

P.S. My renovation goes on and on, but I see the light in the tunnel and it isn't a train, so hopefully I can post and create more often soon!
