Whether intended or not, this is a very spiritual themed movie. A man refuses and fights what the situation is. He is an angry miserable person who can't accept things the way they are. It's not until he accepts his situation that he find happiness. He then uses his abilities for good, to help others. Great movie.

Glad you enjoyed it. The original script was going to be a 10,000 year time loop. I’ve read that Ramis had stated 10 years. Whatculture estimated about 34 years.
