"When calling out to a passing Carja patrol on one of the western roads, Aloy thought she would be greeting a familiar - and friendly - group. After all, her adventures both in Meridian and around the Sundom were starting to merit tales of their own. What she hadn't been expecting was to see them turn and drop their outer cloaks, revealing the deep purple armor of the Shadow Carja. A fight ensued, and while she acquitted herself well, Aloy was unable to overcome their numbers and found herself driven into an unexpected trap. Stripped of her armor and locked in iron manacles, Aloy finds herself running out of ideas for escape... and curious to find out where she will be taken."
