First of all, thank you so much for all the amazing feedback that I received on the previous video! I wasn't quite ready for that and this gave me a great motivation to keep trying finding my way to make tutorials. Thank you! <3

Now here's the second video of the test tutorial series that I'm making.

I tried another method of recording for this video: at first I recorded the process and the voice-over was made a bit later. I think it came out less chaotic than the previous one, but it consumed much more time that I thought it would.

For the next video I'll try to make subtitles instead of the voice-over. This way I will be able to focus on the visual part and the information, instead of what to say and how I talk.

I really hope that you'll enjoy this part as well, and I will post the next video in July!

Super cool! I love hearing your thoughts about choosing colors~! While it still has the lineart it gives such 101 dalmations vibes, love it!!

Thank you so much! I always doubting if I should leave the lineart, I really like how pixel art looks with it! After your comment I will be much more confident about it. <3

Good point to mention the layers technique, very helpful information for beginnners! btw your instinct to pick colors is amazing! How did you do that without referencing other pictures (like using eyedropping tool on an image to pick your desired color)?

Sorry for the late reply! I think when you draw a lot from nature (or from any references), you learn how to recognize colors and use them. So in my opinion this is a result of observation and countless repetitions! Also, I think if you'll be only using eyedropping tool, that might not be so effective in terms of learning, because your brain won't work trying to figure out what colors are there. And it physically won't develop a color recognition mechanism.
