It's such a beautiful art... Do you work with photographs for reference? If you have it, I wonder where you get it.

Thank you! When I don’t know how how certain things look, I usually just search them in google or any other search engine. Bicycles, for example. I just can’t remember how they look or how to draw them. Sometimes I see beautiful photos on Twitter or Instagram, but I don’t draw them. I think it’s not great to use others people sense of composition, color, etc. and just copy a photo that you like. Only for studying purposes or if the author granted you a permission to do it! When I see a beautiful photograph, I try to understand what exactly attracts my attention and how can I implement that in my own scenes. For example, maybe the sky was especially beautiful, or the colors in general evoked something special, or just a tiny detail. If I want to draw something “from nature” or plein air, I use Google Street View and just wandering streets of different cities until I find an inspiring spot. I think it’s okay to use your own photographs as well, but you have to be in a location that you like to take them! That could be tricky sometimes.
