How did you apply the light effect?

Could you please explain a bit more detailed what do you mean by "light effect"? If it's about the color changes - I do it in Photoshop, using the Adjustment layers (I usually use the Curves one, but actually you can use other if they are more comfortable for you). If you place such layer as the top layer, it will affect all layers in file without changing them directly.
