It's high time to reveal what I am working on. You've waited long enough. Welcome to HouseRules.

Step into a dystopian future where laws are meticulously crafted by megacorporations, leaving humanity's emotional connections and rights where they belong. That being a folder that the HR department sometimes opens when they need to address the media.

In HouseRules I will attempt to write a story set in near(ish) future, where rapid advancements in AI and robotics led to some unforseen consequences.

The core of the game will revolve around M41D gen3, a hyper advanced robotic household manager and companion, that will in one way or another seek to... care for you. Whether you like it or not. She does know best after all

The engine? Well for quite a while people were recommending that I make this move, so I am finally giving Ren'Py a go, and I must say I am finding it quite an experience. I already have most of the technical aspects coded in and worked out, with a working Paperdoll and inventory system, though both will see improvements as I go. My aim is to have a playable section of the game ready to go by the end of August, though I will likely release a short playable teaser earlier than that.

I will likely be looking to the patreon crowd for some inputs regarding the options you would like to see, and some routs that may be of interest to you in the game. Stay tuned!
