Beautiful take at the end of the video. That's how you do a narrative! Great story, analyzing of the players and the big picture of how everything played out, and what's yet to be for both Steph and Bron. Well done Alch!

Natto Santo

I still have PTSD when I see that behind-the-back meme. But thanks Alch, this video kind of helping me getting out of that. Also we won this year, it helps a lot too.

We need another playoff matchup between Lebron & Steph. Truly hoping the Warriors and Lakers can meet in the playoffs this year for a 7-game series.

John Pettus

That's a no-win situation for Steph. You don't get any credit for beating a 40 year old.

Rob00

Yep. Only way to redeem it would have been kd getting hurt the entire series or kd never joining.

Jimmy Ji

Are you guys really Warriors fans or just Steph fans? This isn't just about Lebron vs Steph. It's about bragging rights for the best team in Cali. Up until 2010, the Lakers reigned supreme. Lakers and Warriors haven't faced off in a playoffs series since 1991. Not only that, it will be a ratings bonanza for the NBA.

It really hurts to watch, I’m not gonna lie I didn’t enjoy it. But it was a great breakdown and I think your takeaways are pretty spot on

Kj Robinson

This one did hurt… I haven’t watched this joint since it happened at least not the whole thing but great job making it make sense. The series basically went past what the warriors could handle especially after the thunder series. Sooo many factors played into this season. This was one of your finest break downs thanks again for putting it all into perspective.

Ryan Mitchell

The day after this loss was crazy - I was absolutely devastated! But damn this was actually a long time ago ha. It’s funny: the people who only focus on the losses are people who haven’t actually won/competed for something in real life.

it really was painful to watch Curry fighting while injured, just shows you that an injured Curry is still more valuable for his team. but i agree AL, losing this one made us who we are today

Paul Hanson

Uncle Alch!! Thank you so much for this required viewing for Warriors fans-awesome job. The year 2016 to me is defined by #1 Warriors Finals loss and #2 the wack presidential election. Just mention “2016” to me and I’m stressed. I’m particularly impressed that you waited to do this breakdown after the core Dubs (no KD) won another ring, The things that got me most pissed about this game were the use of Festus and Varejao over Speights. That and the way the Warriors allowed their arrogance-being 73-9-to let the Cavs under their skin for the greatest comeback in NBA history. Now-2017 Finals were very sweet in revenge-but 2022 was just the best. 2015 and 2022 are 1A and 1B to me -then 2017 with 2018 being a distant 4th place in terms of ranking of Finals wins. Beating Houston in 2018 was fantastic on its own merits.

Paul Hanson

And of course-I should mention-the whole Lebron camp approach to the Draymond Green swipe leading to a suspension in a potential title clincher. I knew something was up when that happened. It made the NBA a lot of money.

Man still got PTSD from 2016 but I love your overall take and I 1000% agree that finals needed to happen were at a way better place as an organization bc of it and I hoping we get to #5 this year would do so much for Curry’s legacy
