I am not worried about the next game because the core being thru before. I am curious if Kerr going cut down the mins for the starter play more jk because he will the xfactor in next series. And is Poole a max player?

I expect Denver to dominate the first quarter of game three, probably ignited by a three from Jokic, but Warrior depth should right the ship. Is this why Boogie has been on so many teams? I know Barton probably prompted the outburst but I suspect Boogie’s way of addressing the issue made things worse. My favorite moment: GP2 blocking Jokic. They probably won’t keep shooting at this percentage but they are so strong defensively that it won’t matter. I’m surprised how well Beli has defended Jokic; smaller players blow by him but he does pretty well fighting off bigs.

It is warriors tradition to lose game 3 of every series, but maybe our young guns can turn that around

The fact that Denver is doing plays like setting screens on Draymond to get him off Jokic is very telling. Very impressed with Draymond. I like how you point out the mental game aspect of this matchup Alch!

I think we will not start the Bermuda Triangle lineup as they will just crash into the paint and Draymond will either collect fouls or wear out, he runs hot as we know. We have to start Looney to test Joker and to see how the refs are calling it, save the small lineup for key stretches and of course to close games out. We are not going to shoot like last game all through this next month, we shouldn't get too high on ourselves. And honestly Denver with a tired Joker and Murray and Porter out isn't going to be anything like the next series, so enjoy this while we can. Our brand of ball is on just a so much higher level compared to all but maybe Boston and The Suns who are only close.

I listened to Klay's postgame. He said that after game two, Dray reminded everyone of the "job not being finished". Hopefully they carry this mindset throughout this series.

i dont know alc, boarding line disrespectful? everyone in the league knows that our team plays with joy, amen. but i'm with you denver is rattled to the core, and we need to be extra careful, i just hope they keep it clean. pray for draymond everyone. be blessed

I'm throwing my lineup name out there - The Five Point Play The 4 point play is the most efficient possession you can have (sans a technical being added). But these 5 - it feels like they score 5 points each and every possession.

What Jokic is currently doing will not beat Draymond. Jump hooks don't get free throws- part of that is the traditional reason that it's not aggressive enough. But also, Shaq changed the way NBA refs call the post (like Iverson changed carrying). Now you will not get free throws because both players are allowed to bump and hit each other. If he wants to be more effective he needs to use a face up jump shot, or turnaround fadeaway. When you shoot a jump shot instead of a jump hook, the refs view it differently and the same contact suddenly IS a foul. This is 2022, the era of pinky-brush 3-shot fouls, after all. Not that I want Jokic to figure that out, he might not even have it in his game. But I believe that was part of the reason Kerr didn't like to give Draymond the ZBo and LMA assignments. The jumper over the top.
