I was at the game, the very last row in the nosebleeds! My god I've never seen the chef this aggro, especially on defense! The crowd as fucking hyped! Couple of observations: * Steph being aggro AF on defense, steals AND block * Kuminga looking hella lost on defense, especially off-ball * Trae Young is super quick, made Loon look absolutely stuck in mud * Iggy needs to play more minutes * DLee and JP played well * Bjelica needs more minutes, he's too good on offense * GP2 got owned in the first half but made a huge impact in the second

Love the no-nonsense tone Steph had during that 3rd quarter stretch. He was locking in on defense and kept the team fired up to stop any Hawks momentum. Starting to get really excited about this team, great stuff as always Alch 🙌🏽

need wigs to show some life against the wolves. he's been playing well but we need him to be more assertive. there are gonna be games where we need his iso scoring, especially in the playoffs.

I actually find it kind of surprising that a young team like the Hawks would be facing a playoff hangover. I found it alarming Trae admitted the regular season seems a little more boring now as a result. I get the excitement from their run, but I would think only the teams that win the chip or make the Finals multiple years would have earned the right to feel that way.

As a laker fan, im kinda scared what you guys will look like once klay comes back. Im hoping Jordan poole will go back to being trash and also wishing that wiseman will be trash. No hate tho😂😂

Yeah but all of these games have been hard fought at a certain point. None have been a full on blow out the whole game either they initially came back from a deficit or the other team clawed back in it after a burst. They have been pretty competitive blowouts. It's like 40 minutes of competitive ball then 8 minutes of the warriors just dominating haha.

The way they're playing, they all need more minutes. Iggy has to be kept in a bubble though, never any B2Bs and play solid minutes until the PS hits. I think Belly is 3rd in +/- so far into the season

gotta be honest- first few games I thought I knew this team and was really just jonesing for Moody and Kuminga. I had no idea it was going to be this fun essentially without those guys. crazy that it will evolve from here.

It’s so exciting to have this brand of high IQ basketball back. I too think that Friday’s game will be the true arbiter of where the Dubs truly are. Either way it’s a great situation: If they lose they will know that there’s more for them to do and to not get too ahead of themselves. And I think if they win they’ll still realize what a special year it has been and that they’ll need to keep it going to really make some noise. I kind of see some midseason acquisition at the trade deadline. That and having Klay back makes this year exciting. If Wiseman can do anything down low -like rebound and get dunks and defend the hoop- it will really help a lot.

I'm personally not too surprised by Step going for the 50-piece but its definitely one of the most exciting things you'll see in any sport. Keep in mind Steph has always played with an edge when facing another top PG in this league because he has the extra motivation to prove he's still on top at his position. Kind of hard to believe as well that this is actually the first time Steph has played against Trae at Chase ('19 was the pandemic shortened season and '20 Steph was hurt from the fall in Houston when ATL was in town) so if you add up all these factors, he was due to put on a show!

I don't know Alch, looks to me like Curry is used to the new ball. I remember a while back you compared KD's scoring to Steph's. KD is the more consistent dependable scorer, but Steph has blue flame mode where no one can touch him. We got blue flame Curry last night.

Kuminga sighting was dope and well analyzed. Got to see suns versus hawks in phx where kiminsky basically won the game for the aytonless suns. All the hawks outside of trey young seem to struggle scoring on their own. Outside of pick and roll action their offence doesnt move cery much. Are they stuck in the same place as dallas w luka or houston with harden?

I thought Wiggins did a respectable job on Trae. I watched the Blazers and it seems like Lillard is trying to be more of a facilitator and (relatively) less a scorer. One reason why Kerr is a good coach: the way he has handled jta, flattering him with a leadership role. On another team he would fade into the woodwork.

Yeah, his career got squashed by Magic and Legend early and the GOAT late. He's always gonna be a 2nd-rate Dr. J along with Clyde the Glide. Can understand why he's salty, but don't have much sympathy, TBH.
